Allow me to explain what is happening in each scene bc- Idk-
Before I start, I would like to mention that Book I and Book II are separate lore wise. Book I is about a samurai sealing a beast away but, in the process, curses the Masashige bloodline, which then the curse eventually falls upon Yasu Masashige, the Great great great great great great great great great great grandson of the samurai and how he has to defeat the Beast of Control by himself, and Book II is about people worshipping the beast of Jealousy, and becoming pawns of Jealousy. The main character of Book II is Isamu Uchiumi who lost his brother, Senzai. And unfortunately, that's all we know about Book II lore wise so- Uh-

0:09 Sama/The Witch/Kintoru/Saigomo/Omukade/The Beast of Control/Antagonist of The Mimic Book I/WHATEVER IN THE WORLD YOU WANNA CALL HER BC SHE HAS TOO MANY NAMES and Kusonoki Masashige (the Samurai who cursed his entire bloodline), Kusonoki trying to seal the Witch away but ends up sealing himself away with her as she said she had his daughter (She really didn't) and this ended up causing him to become one of Kintoru's puppets, which is why there is an x over him.
0:20 A descendant of Kusonoki, Daku, and his wife Keiko. While this is not canon to actual lore, in this AU Daku and Keiko divorced after the disappearance of Juno Masashige, their niece, but they were both cursed in the end.
0:25 JUNO MASASHIGE! With the missing words over her eyes to signify she's missing.
0:30 Kaito Masashige, a descendant of Kusonoki, he is a fisherman, out on his boat, when he sees Sama lying on the ground and she asks if he can give her a ride, and as a reward for his kindness, rewarded him with the Japanese instrument, a biwa. Except, this biwa was cursed.
0:41 Kaito plays the biwa for his daughter Hana/Biwaki.
0:43 Only what I can assume is Kintoru laughing to herself because she now has Kaito and Hana wrapped around her finger. Or should I say, wrapped in her web.
0:45 Hana/Biwaki and Kaito realizing they've been cursed by Sama
0:49 So because they realize they've been cursed they hug one last time and then poof into butterfly spirits.
0:51 Ah, yes, Rin. From The Mimic Book II. Rin, the one in the red kimono, and her younger sister, Mio, the girl in the blue kimono, they live in poverty but when Mio comes home joyful Rin comes to the conclusion Mio is eating well without her, so she eats her sister from jealousy. But she then finds out Mio was just saving money for them and becomes overwhelmed with guilt and Mio's mouth appears on the back of Rin's head.

@@Zahur__ Kintoru is Sama's true name. Sama was just the name she said Hiachi could call her by. Most people call her Sama though because that was the first name, we ever knew we could call her. Omukade is the name of her centipede form, Saigmomo is the name of her spider form, Beast of Control is because she has the power to control humans. The Witch is because she literally is a witch because- You know- She's got the power to control people- And Then This Lady Has Too Many Names is a name I made up bc gosh dang it she does have too many names-
