This mode was purely berserker style for Naruto, fueled by nothing more than Anger and Hatred compiled by Kurama over the centuries he's been alive. Admittedly, I like seeing this Mode, since its uses and the conditions for its activation at the times responded well to Naruto's thought process during the entirety of Naruto and during the first to second halves of Shippuden: "I need power, to protect them (his friends) and to bring him back (Sasuke)". But at the same time, I also like the conception of the Chakra Mode, because aside from the Cloak, this form was fueled to the brim with life, mirroring Naruto's maturity and realization that as much as this power made him stronger, it could still be the death of him if he's not careful.

I absolutely hate how inconsistent they are with battles and attacks. Naruto in 2 tailed form with a single punch can destroy THAT much of a forest, and yet Guy in 8 Gates mode using one of his signature punches can only send Madara flying half that distance with less impact. PRETTY sure Naruto in 2 tails mode isn't even remotely close to as powerful as a guy who's 10x stronger than the 5 Kages combined, capable of fighting and severely wounding / overwhelming a guy with the power of the Sage of Six Paths whilst being the 10 tail's jinchuuriki. I really wish they'd think this stuff through and stay consistent instead of just waffing it by the end of the series because they forgot how it all was years ago.

And on the might gai thing, I'm assuming your talking about the evening elephant? . If u haven't notice gai's punch was so strong that it send madara under the ground and made a big hole through it. So gai's attack was way strong
+cdwwg I think its more or less depends on what the attacker is hitting. Some trees and rocks apart of the ground isn't going to measure up to someone who's basically on the level of a god. So the impacts are going to seem a bit different, not to mention Naruto was lashing out at random while Guy was focusing all his power onto a single point so the impact radius isn't going to be as big.
