We were so excited about our plan for this week of travel. We were thrilled at the idea we would get some snorkling time on this west Australia coastline we had heard about for weeks. But the weather disagreed with that. Wind, rain, swell and current. The elements were telling us: “no, no, no…”. Deception would be an under statement.
So we went for plan B. Get lost. That is how we ended up picking a random track in the Ningaloo coastal reserve. The initial ambition was simply to find a way up north that was not on the main road. In the end, this wild way through the dunes gifted us and our group of friend with more surprises we could have dreamt of. Whales, shipwrecks and more! Adventures how we love them.
Beware not to end up sand bogged.

It just started and again I am at the front of the line! Woo Hoo. Front Row Seat! It looks great on the big TV! I wouldn't watch any other way. Makes me feel like I'm there! What is it 8K? I watched a video about the world having a sand shortage. Well, it seems there is one in certain areas, but not in Australia or the US. Australia has sand like the ocean has water!

Oh wow! Glad you got the battery change for the drone shots of the whale! So beautiful! And the cliffs wow. It looked like you were driving so close to the edge on one shot! What is the low temperature at night? Im wondering what is cold in Australian winter. You didnt waste any time breaking in the new motor lol!
Temperatures at night reach 10 Celsius more or less. Gets chilly. But in the south it is colder. !!

Yes I also was waiting for an update about the lamb, after going to such an effort to catch it! 😢🐑
We did not see any other sheep when we found the lamp…. It was running in circles like lost. Later on we spotted a group further away so we released the baby in that direction and it ran toward them so we re hopefully

I premiered the video at 7:30am Pacific time😂 ...it must be around 11pm there. Fun track! Where was the little sheep's Mama. Always meeting cool people to hang out with! Sleep well!

I'm confident you have been asked this questions, so I apologize upfront but what OPD bluetooth scanner are you using to monitor your engine? I would also be curious as to how you manage cell coverage. Are you purchasing prepaid services for a particular country or using something like Starlink?

What units are you using to measure fuel economy? I'm used to miles per gallon (mpg) so a lower number is worse, even if it's km per litre a lower number is worse economy, so I'm confused lol.

I don't get it (and forgive me, I'm still watching) but at around 6:30 you're talking about getting worse fuel economy but then say it's a good thing....? Did I get that wrong?
The new motor is getting better fuel economy. It has “dropped” from 11 litres per 100km to 9.5 L/100km.✌🏼
