So this person got arrested for DWI, got their truck out of impound and then immediately causes a major accident where life flight was called?? Sounds like they should never be allowed to drive again.
Praying for the care flight patient. Good recovery. Hope you get your power on soon. I changed my donut spare out with a full size tire, and I carry a tire pump in my trunk just to be on the safe side.
Great vid Dustin! Good idea on the generator. I feel for y'all in the Houston area having to tolerate the heat and normal Houston summertime weather without power due to Beryl; San Antonio was spared when she went veered east of town although we were hoping for some precip. Stay safe out there!
G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺, I’ve never really seen how you operate in every day breakdown and accidents, your a nice bloke and you are respectful of people and different services that are involved in something like you just attended. Stay safe and I look forward to watching your channel kind regards John PS it’s a nice truck looks very clean inside.
Just a suggestion, when my dad got his truck towed for his driveshaft falling off. I saw you had trouble with it moving when you lifted it on the bed. What the tow truck for my dad did was bungee strap it up so it wasnt hanging down onto the road/bed
Wouldn’t work, driveshaft is out on the transmission side which means it’s still connected at the differential, as the truck moves the shaft is constantly going to spin which makes securing it pretty difficult, best to just let it hang and help it over the edge of the bed and the pockets. If it were out on the differential side it would be easily securable as it wouldn’t spin at all.
In Alberta, an officer was hit by a passing car, and the Province passed a bill that is to force motorists to slow down and move over one lane when faced with vehicles on the side of the road. But most people drive like they are obvious to people on the side, stopped and preventing you from moving over, or are outright abusive.
As a fan of 2nd Gen Dodge trucks, that was a nice 1 ton not sure if it had the Cummins or not but it's a Shame how some people take care of their stuff. Why we cant have nice things. What a Bozo
I work in communications. I can’t tell you how many times I almost got hit. I had a coworker hit by a drunk driver. Pushed his E350 bucket van 20ft and up a curb. People just need to pay attention when driving.
One of my closest calls was down in your area off of 332 and Baldwin across from the Buc-cees. My co worker pulled up behind me, stepped out, and his van was clipped by a car. Luckily no one was injured. The guy drove off. Not sure how far he made it. These Texas drivers are scary.
So on Monday my gramma had to go in a life flight she had to 2 surgeries and she should be coming back home today but my other grandma died In the accident .😢😢😢😢😢😢
The less time on the road the better all those extra lights are useless Ppl really gotta maintain their cars smh And winch out on those wheels never a good idea can weaken and break the wheel
Older generations aren’t any different, why do you think the younger generation can’t do it? Because the older generation can’t do it to have taught the younger generation. The failure started with the older generations and continued on.
It's never a good day when you have to go for a ride on Life Flight.
Been there done that
@@tjohny Wow, glad your Ok

Thank you Dustin! Awsome as always 😊. Hope everyone gets their power restored soon.

I don’t know what they were originally arrested for.
Thanks for the content Dustin.
Great job and great video ! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thoughts and prayers for the injured folks
For some reason, I was not able to do a reply except on someone's post.Hope and pray that the first part, the person recovers and the second, was easy

looks like tghe owner of hat truck changed out his steering wheel. Thank god it wasnt any serious than that. no airbag to deploy!
Great Job Dustin! Now for that flat tire change, young able men that cant change a tire?
Unfortunately not many kids are taught how to change a spare now days.
Crazy, stay safe out there.
Hope ya'll get power back soon! Praying for my Texas friends!
Nice video!😊👍
Prayers for everyone involved. Those spares must of the time are never thought of until they are needed unfortunately.
how many miles did you have to drive down the shoulder? prayers for the injured
Good little ways, that’s the main highway so it got pretty backed up

what kind of impact do you use and what if they don't pay? do you tow there vehicles away?
I try to give as much space as possible because there’s a lot of people that like to block and other stupid stuff
Where did you get those light up cone things? That would be very useful for when I am on a roadside call and I'm in an area where it looks dangerous.
Those are Nite Beams Road Commanders.
Out of curiosity, why is your light bar Amber to the front?
Different states have diffrent laws on what color lights tow & emergency vehicles can have, and where.
Because in Texas you can only have amber facing the front.
Be Safe!

Love you channel very much
Where did u get your triangle lights from. I need to get some.

@@Towtruck_Dustin Thanks✌🏿
Just curious how that Ram even passed a vehicle inspection. With that steering wheel on it the air bag system is deactivated.
Texas is doing away with inspections in about 6 months.
I love my solar it's not hard to put in save on power bills
Did you get your power back on yet
We did! It came on a few days after this wreck I believe.
Rural area .life flight is needed as a quicker way to get a patient to the hospital.
The hospital is like 5mins away.
@@Towtruck_Dustin ok. Then the person needed more advanced care.
Why didn't you put the spare on the rear of the car

It’s crazy how many close calls I’ve had too. Unfortunately people just don’t post attention.

Hi Dustin I'm your big fan🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hope you enjoyed the video!
Which state do you operate in?
Texas.
Man, that’s a dead road as far as traffic.
Great work and fine editing on this video.
This crash don't like good if air ambulance ass to be called
What highway was this on?
SH 288 Southbound, just north of Lake Jackson, Tx.
So on Monday my gramma had to go in a life flight she had to 2 surgeries and she should be coming back home today but my other grandma died In the accident .😢😢😢😢😢😢
I for one, appreciate very much the sign that you have on your headboard... God bless you! 😔🙏❤️
Looks like speeding was involved if the pickup ended up that far down the road after hitting the truck & trailer..
They were under the influence so speeding was definitely involved
Tell me about your tow truck
And look at your city and state rule if you want to go code 3 with your lights and sirens
They don’t allow sirens. Not many states do.
Oh god!

No te lo puedo creer me
These guys are helpless 😂 what a shame
Hope your electricity is restored soon.
Yo it me Matthew
Hey there!
That’s a nice truck. Too bad they totaled it
❤
The less time on the road the better all those extra lights are useless
Ppl really gotta maintain their cars smh
And winch out on those wheels never a good idea can weaken and break the wheel
😂😂😂 ok
Wheel is the strongest part to hook to in most circumstances. If it breaks the wheel, the wheel was already compromised.
It’s sad that this new generation of young people can’t even change a tyre
Older generations aren’t any different, why do you think the younger generation can’t do it? Because the older generation can’t do it to have taught the younger generation. The failure started with the older generations and continued on.
👍✌️
ummm putting it in park with the rear driveshaft pulled out of the trans isn't gonna do a whole lot of god lol

Hoo lady with you in town truck?
Dodge dooley is damaged badd .
@towtruck_dustin Does Texas allow red and blue lights on towtrucks?
Yes
