  • This is me and my father, Jeff Kiernan, playing our original version of the national anthem for my high school graduation.
My father and I spent months working and writing and it really paid off. Starting in December 2019, it was a slow beginning, but my dad and I learned a hell of a lot.
Once we finished the song in April, I sent it to my high school principal. Later, the school announced an opportunity for students to perform the national anthem at graduation. I don't know how many students submitted, but my school chose us.
The day before graduation, my dad and I went to soundcheck and set up our gear. The next day was the biggest day of my life.
Before I knew it, I was literally standing in front of almost 1,000 friends and strangers with my dad, playing a song that we crammed together on a little laptop in our basement. Better yet, the gentleman who kneeled in front of us, Mr. Cliff Grassmick, took photos for two local newspapers! How cool is that?!
This was truly a one of a kind, once in a lifetime experience that I, and a thousand other people, will never forget.

Our original version of the national anthem will be released on September 10th to Spotify, iTunes, Pandora, TH-cam, Instagram Music, Amazon, and more!

Everyone mentioning the Cliff resemblance, but I notice also a slight resemblance to Cronos (Conrad Thomas Lant from Venom). As for style/sound saw a couple other vids, I would put his style in a category of its own. Pinch harmonics are hard as hell to pull off, though once you start getting them they come naturally. But that is if you can, so that right there is his strength and uniqueness.
