It drains fast in comparison to most other tech gadgets. However for the normal everyday cleaning and even a full apartment clean (90 ish m2) the battery lasts just fine on Eco or Mid-mode. The boost mode drains battery like crazy though. // Chris
Warning! No replacement battery for V12 seems to be available. Once the battery goes out you will have to replace the vacuum. This battery has been out of stock for at least a year. Did Dyson do this intentionally? We just purchased the vacuum but am disgusted because we cannot purchase a spare battery as Dyson recommends.
Hi! Yeah, you seem to be absolutely correct that the battery is out of stock on the website. Which is definitely a bit odd since new V12 Slim cleaners are still being sold. Not that it´s a great solution, but from what I can read through other forums etc. you should be able to contact the support and ask to buy a spare battery and they can (sometimes) provide you with it through a separate purchase link. Have not tested this myself though, and should definitely not be the way to do it. However maybe worth a shot for now. // Chris
