My phenix TL2 helmet saved my ass too. Was working a garage/vehicle fire and I made the mistake of not being aware of the garage motor. As I’m knocking the fire down and working my way in, the motor falls and lands right on my head. It definitely knocked me down but boy did the helmet do a hell of a job of absorbing that impact. I remember getting up and continuing the fight. Once I hit rehab is when I started to feel some neck and shoulder pain. Luckily no tears or anything major. Couple weeks of rehabilitation and I was at a 100%. I’ll never buy any other brand but Phenix. I know for a fact that this incident would have been worse and I owe it to my helmet for keeping me safe and healthy.
