I agree, I also love thier follow up, Gutter Ballet. Both had great jams from front to back. Criss and Jon was amazing on all thier albums together. But Hall of the mountain king and Gutter Ballet was when they was at thier very best.

Fire Down Under has been my go to under the radar album to turn people onto. Absolutely amazing album! Operation Mindcrime is top 3 for me and Savatage is probably my all-time favorite Metal band that isn't named Iron Maiden! Sirens, The Dungeons Are Calling, Power Of the NIght, Hall Of The Mountain King! Take your pick! Number of the Beast, Powerslave and Piece Of Mind are probably all worthy of my top slot! Seventh Of Never is my choice for Chastain. Leather is so impressive on that album. Very Dioesque, and possibly more powerful than the man himself!

I listened to that Dokken album this morning! It’s very diverse and there’s some great songs on there too! My list would’ve probably been all of the Manilla Road albums from the 80s because I’m so obsessed with that band! 😂😂😂😂

Love both but have always preferred ULAK, don’t notice much of a difference in heaviness
From my understanding, Tooth & Nail is more traditional Metal, whereas Under Lock & Key is more Glam Metal. Dokken's image even changed. Apparently, Elektra pushed Dokken to go more mainstream in the wake of the success of Pyromania
