Ford crown vic PI swap cold start exhaust before/after comparison

1999 ford crown victoria cold start comparison before and after PI top end swap- heads, cams, intake manifold, and some other mods.
4.6 2v npi bottom end with pi top end ~ 10.5-1 compression ratio

PI cams sound just a tiny bit more poppy, like it's almost trying to have a mild lope.

yeah definitely more poppy especially on cold starts, and lope is lots more agressive on vacuum leak Lmao

I have a ,99 nPI 4.6 from my Townie and a ‘07 PI 4.6 also from a Lincoln so I’m really thinking about doing the PI head swap but the old engine needs a few things like freeze plugs…getting the 4.6 closer to 300hp would be very nice.
300 is my goal but I also want it to look unmodified because I live in Oregon in the smog test zone.
