Beautiful studio!! And you are the best person I’ve seen so far detail your rugs. I tried detailing and put a large hole in the fabric. I’m still learning.. 😊

Hello! Love all of your helpful videos! And I hope all is going well with the studio!
I was wondering if you knew whether or not I could shave a looped rug and get the cut look successfully?
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer and help out a fellow tufter!

    Hi AJ!
Wondering about the projector you use. I'm getting ready for my first large project for which I'll need a projector. Started looking into them and quickly got overwhelmed with how many different ones are out there! They all emphasize the use of the projector for watching stuff vice tracing stuff.
Which do you use? And, is that one "good enough" or is there one you'd rather have if you had no limiting factors?
    Thanks and happy tufting!!

Hi! I love all of your videos and I find them very helpful in starting tufting myself! I have one question about yarn tho. I want to make "wallpictures/rugs" and stool mat etc, but with reused yarn. I knit alot, and know a company here in Norway that I can cooperate with in getting left over yarn. Can I use basically any yarn out there, if you get where I am going at? Like all these different wool types as we use for knitting sweaters etc?

AJ, can you please make a video about what apps and things that you use to draw your designs before you project the image? This is my biggest difficulty at the moment with my own rugs. Also do you use a drawing tablet or an iPad to do so?

I have been hand tufting rugs and just got the rug gun. However, when I practice (I use cut pile, it came ready for that so I stuck with it) it seems that no matter how close my lines are the rug doesn’t appear full. I can see gaps where the cloth will show through. Any tips?
