      BiasedRocketsFan 34 the word Illuminati means nothing. But yes a group of malicious people do run things. They want the world to turn but they have created so much distortions to truth it’s crazy. You can find these distortions everywhere you look

      Too bad all the dumbasses are numb from staring at screens and can't pick up on things. You're literally programmed to discard everything with "DERP ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED" without giving anything a 2nd thought unless they tell you too. The whole fake news narrative is a great example of that. Basically, dont trust the characters on TV, they're all full of shit

      knightofdreamz c'mon bro stop. He was seen as the second best pg in the NBA. 20 and 10 threat every night and had some of the nastiest handles in the league. Injuries clearly got the best of him, this isn't a secret. He was even an all star in an injury riddled season with new jersey

    D-Will wanted to get out of Utah and away from Jerry Sloan's structured offense to prove he was more than a system PG, be able to call his own plays, be autonomous. It wasn't New York, he was just not as good as he thought he was. As soon as he left Utah, began to decline immediately. He was always complaining teammates didnt know where to position themselves. Jerry Sloan made him look great. Its sad, a great coach in Jerry Sloan had to resign & retire over D-Will.

    • @wwejamal09
      @wwejamal09 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure, that 2013-14 Nets team was pretty damn good.
      I feel like Billy King and the Russian ownership really screwed the Nets over with their whole "win now, worry later" mindset, but it's good to see them somewhat bounce back after a few shitty years.

    • @ryanb7833
      @ryanb7833 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You mean the one with KG and Pierce? Yeah it wasn't as bad as people and even Nets fans think. That trade wasn't worth it, but I think i would've been a little better if kept Pierce after that year and tried to retain our core. We actually played better second half of that year after the bad start. I still think we should've kept our core in the first of Brooklyn and never traded those picks. if we just rode with D will, Brook, and Joe and tried to develop Marston Brooks we could've had a better future. BK and Proky ruined our future. We did get Marks who I think will be a good GM and a culture change. I know those D will years get shitted on, but I enjoyed it at least, because at least we made the playoffs for 3 straight years.

    • @wwejamal09
      @wwejamal09 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it just started out as Kris Humphries for Paul Pierce or something like that, then it escalated into the trade that went down. Like I said, Billy King and Russian ownership sort of played themselves with the whole "win now, worry later" outlook, throwing away draft picks like nobody's business. The Nets could've potentially had guys like Damian Lillard and Jaylen Brown on the team if they didn't give away all their picks. But they are going alright this year with what they've got. Would've been interesting to see how they would've gone had everyone been healthy.

    Word to Jerry Sloan.. The grass isn't always greener. He wasn't made for a large market like New York. In Utah the media isn't the same. Moody and at the end of the day he's a family man (4 kids) by age of 27, basketball was a job to him not a passion, a means to an ends. Didn't have any major injuries, just lost the drive and didn't want it bad enough (mental), when the going got tough blamed not having the same coach / system, ankles, etc. But hey he's made over 145M AND still getting paid 5.5M next 3 seasons by the Brooklyn Nets.. Keep cashing them checks.

    I live in Utah and a Jazz fan, and the problem with Deron is personality issues, he personally ran Sloan out of town, one of the best coaches in history. he called team meetings trying to exclude Sloan, treated Hayward awful his rookie year, a ton of strife with other players, and treated Gale Miller badly, who is probably the most loved woman in Utah, and none of us were ever going to choose him over her, which he never seemed to realize, and I have never talked to anyone who disagreed with trading him. Plus we got Favors, who is a huge fan favorite.

    Tyson Chandler made Team USA because he won a ring with the Mavs. And before that season the Bobcats somehow made the playoffs with Tyson Chandler.
    He is also very charismatic. Which helps because the NBA is about the fans too. Literally if anyone approaches him he will offer an autograph. He's solid at defense, gets rebounds, very atheltic, somewhat consistent at scoring, and good at moving the ball.

    Simple. His body couldn't sustain his style of play. His crossover was super effective, because of his ability to stop, and change directions super quick. He had crazy agility for a guard his size. He also was a pretty good dunker for a guy his size, too.
    Now mind you, he's doing all this on that big 200lb frame of his. That was just too much wear and tear on his ankles, which is why we started seeing him with the decline and injury bug in '14.

      Cayde-6 you trippin. Not Magic, he was close to Isiah Thomas (80s). He averaged 20 and 10. Magic was averaging 20 12 and 6 rebounds. Nonetheless he was a beast. Idk wth happend i was thinking the same when i saw Cp3 still getting his numbers and DWill fell off, they came to the league together and were the new generation of point guards that can score and assist at a high clip.

    Kind of agree on the whole pressure aspect being a part of that. I remember the last year the Nets were in Jersey when there still wasn't the same kind of constant pressure on him D-Will was still playing as well as you might imagine he could being the number 1 scoring option on a bad team. He had some inflated less efficient stats yes but they were just about exactly the kind you'd have expected from him given the circumstances. He broke the franchise record for points in a single game for pete's sake! He was doing alright in Dallas too before he got bought out too, his stats went up some and he was there go to big shot guy when Dirk wasn't on the floor or was covered.

    Should've never got Jerry Sloan fired and played hard ball with Utah about a new contract. Him and Dwight Howard screwed themselves by leaving teams where would've been considered the best ever. I remember I was playing with Deron Williams on Live 10 online and came back from 20 down against the Lakers and I had D Will going off, ever since then I had a soft spot for him but his been garbage ever since he left Utah.

    • @MrBshears
      @MrBshears 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      He did not get Jerry Sloan fired. The owner of the jazz said if it was between Jerry Sloan and any player in the NBA they would pick Jerry 100 out of 100 times. Jerry figured that he didn't have much time left anyways and retired the next day. The Jazz organization hated how Deron handled the situation and subsequently wanted hime off the team.

    Under Coach Sloan: Carlos Boozer and AK47 were All Stars, while the other teammates look like championship-caliber support. Deron WIlliams at that time also looked like the best PG in the league. But ego got into his head early, thinking the system doesn't matter and he can do it all. All things changed during his tenure with the Nets, suddenly the drives are not as easy, suddenly defense are crowding him, suddenly his teammates are questioning whether he truly knows how to play point. Then the injuries started piling in, doubt began to settles in his head, and just like that he is not considered as an All Star anymore. Only then did he and other people realized that he was never a Jason Kidd/Steve Nash/Chris Paul type of impact player, his game actually fits in an efficiently executed system. It must have bothered him a lot knowing what could have happened if only he kept his ego in check. He might have been a sure ballot Hall of Famer or even the best PG of his era.
