I think this show has gotten a lot of unjustified hate. It was a very interesting story, connecting it VERY well to the canon in my opinion. I had some issues with the dialogue but that's about it. Seeing Darth Plagueis felt surreal, I've been dreaming of that moment ever since I first saw Revenge of the Sith 15 years ago. I really hope the show gets renewed and we will see their relationship unfold. My guess is they are both apprentices to Darth Tenebrous and Plagueis is now looking to cut out the competition. Disappointed that we didn't find out his Darth name but oh well, my money is on him being Darth Venamis. Really excited. Manny Jacinto did a great job bringing this to life and I want to thank everyone who worked together to create every part of this Sith Lord. One of my favorites ever.

Sol deserve better
Despite my thoughts on the show as a whole I think Qimir is a worthy addition to the lore and represents being abandoned and betrayed and finding your own path

I agree, the show is utter garbage and trash that makes 0 sense and abuses the lore and characters, but that guy had some legit story that was nice and exciting. Shame they added him to that abysmall show

His voice in the helmet is calm, menacing but with a sly dark wit, something refreshing in a Star Wars villain.

Honestly, season 2 was gonna be his story.
He's by far my favorite character in the whole show. The others were great but he really stole the show. Love how he has a lightsaber that splits into another lightsaber dagger, he's so damn cool.

@sol5879 I know it is more complicated, but that is also my impression of their ideology. It just reminds me of animals who just work on instinct.
Yoda has a habit of having Jedi from his line of teaching fall to the Dark side.
It's almost like "let go of everything you fear to lose" is generally bad advice. Suppressing your emotions might work for some people for a while, but for many it will push them too far or make them too vulnerable. Unfortunately for Yoda the Jedi aren't an order of trained therapists.

Actually, Vernestra's master was Stellan Gios (HR Phase I) and his master was called Rana Kant, Rana's is unknown. So, not from Yoda's line this time.

The way Qimir moved and fought was so pleasing to watch, I imagine it was a stunt double but overall the saber combat was sick in this show
they posted a video of him doing the (fighting scene) choreography. he apparently had no stunt double and everything was played by himself 😅

It was him. I doubt he would let the stunt double do it being that his wife was such a badass and did her stunts and fights in the show "Warrior".

He was my favorite character in this first season. I find him quite interesting and I hope that if there is a second season we will learn more about him and his past, as well as his relationship now with Osha which can be interesting to see I think

Except for not so excellent writing for most scenes I have absolutely no idea why people think this show was bad. It was the first time in a long time that I was actually excited by what I was watching for example when we saw Plagueis or Yoda or when osha bled her Cristal. Not even mentioning the awesome fight choreography this was a good thing for Star Wars
When he says he kills to survive, you do get the sense that's what he's actually doing. If a Jedi knew the Dark Side was being practiced, they would snuff it out. It really does feel like Qimir wants to be left alone.
That is why he helps Mae to kill Jedi? That is a way to get noticed by them. If he wanted to live his life undisturbed by the Jedi he would steer clear of them.
@@christianefiorito3204it was her cerimony for moving up but when she saw her sister and told him when she didn’t know who he was that she’s going to betray him she traveled alone so I’m sure she knew the home world they use and when the Jedi learned of him he had to wipe out anyone who could tell another but messed up stuff happens

@@sol5879Well, of course, there are still some logical gaps, but I think these will hopefully be cleared up in season 2.
I also have to admit that the main actress who played the twins had very bad facial expressions, I mean, she always had the same face, but other than that I don't really have any criticisms of the series.

The Stranger is a breath of fresh air from Darth Sidious and his apprentices. Only wish we could see more, even if animated.

I want his own show or spin of the stranger if there's no season 2. His character is one of the best in years in Star Wars Universe, and I really hope they will not waste this character cos he is badass. As a Star Wars fan ever since I was a little girl, it's been years since I was this ecstatic in Star Wars series/project. After Revenge of the Sith, Rogue One is probably the only thing I love. Mandalorian was okay. Looking forward for more Andor. So happy to see Anakin in Obi-wan. Ashoka, well I'm not a fan but I love seeing Anakin as a Master/Teacher. But this character, wow he blew me away in that Episode 5. I was a hater of Acolyte but Qimir shut me up in that Episode. I've never been this enthusiatic before for a SW character (Aside from Vader/Anakin) especially since I'm an avid fan of Jedi Order, that's why I hated this series especially with that 3rd Episode but damn Qimir's/The Stranger changed me, and shook my loyalty to the Jedi to the core. I would love to see his own spin off or story how he ended up as Darth Plagueis apprentice, how he fall as a Jedi, and how he was thrown away by his own Master. It should've been him as the main plot of the story. Him leading to Darth Plagueis to Sidius to Vader. It would have been amazing!
He's the hottest man in the Star Wars universe. Even hotter than Hayden Christensen. His biceps are so badass.

Qimer and Sol we’re done SO DIRTY by literary EVERYONE!!! All of the idiots at Disney and all of the toxic fans have completely buried these two absolute gems of characters, especially The Stranger. I 100% percent believe he could’ve been something truly special. I hope somebody he will be.

His acting in this is phenomenal. You can really tell he embraced the dark side and uses it to achieve his goals. I don’t understand why they didn’t make his story the main villain storyline. The whole twins ordeal was excruciating to watch. The girls and their witch moms were horrible actresses. I couldn’t wait for their scenes to be over every time they were on screen.

I didn't like the writing or plot/execution personally. I think people can both love and hate it, it's their freedom, but I agree that the hate is beginning to get real weird. It's not a normal hate anymore. People are acting like Disney murdered their families or something.
Unjustified hate? Amandla's characters swiched sides every episode, showing 0 emotions a lot of times. There were small things that didn't make sense at all that could have been avoided. The Whack Basil beaver character made no sense and was sabotaging Sol multiple times. The Space Witches thing was executed AWFULLY (cringe ritual, cringe deaths, cringe death of the main witch that was arguably interesting but failed). The kyber crystal bleeding was badly done. The undressing sequence was inappropriate. The dead Jedi and Sith reappearing and not being sensed by or told to Yoda was stupid. Plageius was introduced as a perv in the shadows.
I got a lot more, like the bad CGI at times, non-Star Wars music, lack of epic fighting sequences (there were 2 but that's it in a show that was gonna show the jedi at their peak), but I don't wanna waste my time writing an essay. I absolutely don't condone the racism, death threats (to anyone) and hatred spammed under the Star Wars social media coz it absolutely sucks for whoever manages those accounts.

personally I wasn't a fan of the series, but Qimir was still great I thought. Imo the show should have been about him and Plagueis from the start. I really hope we do see those two again eventually, whether in a new show or a book. Plagueis especially needs to return

The Acolyte would have been better if he were the main character and was the acolyte of Plagueis. The twin sisters weren't necessary and the space witches ruined it.
I must say, his character is one of the only good things that came from this show. Not only because at first he has the unique mystery of the Sith but it follows with a unique perspective of a sith character. While the story as a whole is all over the place at least his is so far somewhat decent.

O que tento entender deste fato desta serie The Acolyte é que um homem entra mata a mae das meninas e depois quer levar elas como se fosse o bonzinho da história. Tem o aliciador que falta achar o bom aliciado, daí aparece o Quimir, um aliciador de uma situação montada para essa política conta o mestre Sol. O filme crítica a modo Bankisk , mas também pode ser criticado a modo Bankisk pois tem a Disney que eu adoro , mas quando mistura as coisas fica um sequestro. Mas o que se esperar de um filme como Star Wars , que começou com restos de estúdios de outros filmes e montagens que narram muito boas , mas com um roteiro e uma trama de grande moral . Só podiam ser franqueados pela Walt Disney , virou uma marca do cinema que foi comprado por outra marca , em roupas é difícil vestir palito e gravatas e botar o chapéu do Mikey Mause. Vemos um sucesso de ao informar a paródia especial ter continuidade , fica chato para os fãs de Star Wars ver um filme de Geday ou Jedis , mas isso mesmo esse é o início e o lugar que dá mundo a tanta religião é a terra deveria ser uma espécie de Vaticano de padres que sabiam mais a religião do que usar sabres de luz e o mestre Sol era o professor muito aprofundado nas duas coisas , e ainda o parecer do conselho ser contra ele é a fase dos Gdays ter que dar um parecer com o poder do governo, isso não é ordem política era como religiosa entre o bem e mau. Mas se vermos a história da humanidade eram padres que ensinaram os soldados da cruz de Malta se comportarem no entanto ele maltrataram negros e indios no processo de expansão o referencial histórico disso é o tempo em que a rainha da Inglaterra decretou o estudo da sociologia , onde o capital das transportadores de cargeiros traziam produtos e aglomeravam povos de outras culturas da Europa nos centros das cidades e os choques em diversas colônias começaram a surgir . Desta forma volto a comentar o filme o surgimento de novas cidades com a queda de pedaços do cargueiro e onde se encontram trouxe restos de ferro e reatores ainda concertáveis e fundou cidades colônias afinal as cidades de Star Wars vivem da energia de grandes reatores uns nas colônias mais pobres de velhas naves. Se esses reatores eram conseguidos pelo lado sombrio e geravam acordos com povos adversos em desacordo a isso estavam os Gedays ou Jedi ou G- days ( Guardiões do Dia ). Mas até hoje as abordagens de tropas de polícia vem errando ao se achar pois nas trocas de tiro se morre uma mamãe de um menino a tendência é o menino ser contra e virar um soldado da armada do crime .
Depois de uma bomba atômica fica difícil, mas os japoneses não sentiram, mas a crítica se confunde, não é a Leasly que confunde. Acho que os quadrinhos é estorieboard, o cenário e cenas do Palácio foram de adoentar quem sofre de claustrofobia , faltou espaço para ver que chegamos na luz. Valores ? mas quem mata papai ou mamãe for do lado da luz ?
Mas o erro é a responsabilidade de confeccionar a moda Disney o início do enredo da trama Plagnos e Palpatine que quer fabricar uma criança com injeções para ser um fácil abduzido e colocar a criança lá dentro e daí onde já estava o Palpatine pra levá-la ao caminho sombrio e fazer o plano.
Parabéns Leasly mas é um fracasso ou sucesso , afinal como surgiu o filme Star War? De restos de outros cenários e objetos de outros filmes. Se quiser ver Star Wars , vá pra Andor
