Star War is a action driven show sorta like life. Not everything has a neat explanation and all actions aren't in a cute little ballet yet the story moves and awesome things happen as a result
The ending to the acolyte was good for me and also I think Imri cantaos is qimir and it would be interesting if we get a second season for the acolyte and yeah I knew the ending was very important and plus the conversation that yoda and vernestra would have in private is important too and I hope we get to darth plagueis again if possible since he is in hiding and good video mike

That's my whole theory i truly think Plagueis was attracted to that cave by the events at the beginning of the finale. I know the helmet sorta blocks that out but she managed to evict Qimir out of his whole body it has to be something that attracts attention IMHO
It wasn't that good of a show, but I watched all 8 episodes a few times a piece. If it came back for a second season, I would watch it. Not only would I be interested in the improvements they could make, but I am actually interested in where the story could go with how they left everything open.
I'm past caring now, this was a masterclass in bad writing. The story was incomprehensible because of the shifting character motivations. The story should have been mainly about Sol’s training of Osha to be a Jedi. Then her powers would make more sense and the turn more powerful when she leaned of the betrayal at the end. Plagueis and Yoda should have featured more, instead it felt like a desperate attempt to woo dejected fans.
It would have ran with longer episodes giving characters more back story but maybe that's in season 2. But watch it 1&2 7&3, 4&5, and 6&8. It's obvious something went wrong show it from Sol's prospective, then the Witch's and knowing helps you build up resentment that Sol was lying and see how May knew what Sol was how hurt she would be that Oshia didn't believe her and knew that the Jedi were not what they were supposed to be. They really did a number on Oshia and continued to lie and deceive. That they then kicked her out of the order and she had nothing or no one to turn to. Sol was like a father who had killed her mother and community lied to her about her sister, then abandoned her and didn't want her back.
That's legends and it sucked, you could just cook up some kyber crystals in an oven... I prefer the new canon where kyber crystals are rare and special. Being hard to get a hold of makes them more valuable and the bleeding of the crystals makes for a good Sith Trial.
I think Qimir is afraid of Osha's power. He has tried to touch Osha twice and was rejected, only to be slowly allowed to hold her lightsaber hand at the end. The lightsaber, once owned by Qimir, now belongs to Osha. This is certainly not a situation that Qimir predicted, but one that he will cultivate to use Osha's power for his own plans. Will Plaiguise allow the couple to exist? Will Venestra find Qimir, and will the two twins reunite? Will we eventually see Plaiguise find Palpatine and end Qimir and Osha's apprenticeship? These are all good stories to be told, but the bigger question is, will they actually happening a TV series?
That would be really cool as I think the original version of Venamis being a Sith Bith false apprentice to the Sith Bith master Darth Tenebrous to a bit dumb. There's enough with one Sith Bith, we don't need two of them! Feels like the second one is just to save on budget, lol!
Fr bro, the Acolyte was crazy in the best way. The fight scenes were better than any Star Wars imo. I feel like it paid homage to how Jedi battles actually were. The choreography was so good. A lot of work went into it
I've been saying for years I was just a casual Star Wars fan, but after The Acolyte, that's not true anymore because this show turned me into a Star Wars fan for real! More than any other live action movie/tv show (that I've seen, which is about half) this one gripped me the hardest/fastest and made me actually want to dive into the world/lore more, and to me that makes the show a success! I hope there's a season 2!

Yes, give us more seasons! Exploring Darth Plagueis and possibly opening doors to a young pup Palpatine/Sidious. Find a talented young actor to play Palp. Invite incredible directors/screenwriters to help out for season 2... Tony Gilroy comes to mind. Because season one was great but wasn't perfect, there are definitely room for improvement for season two. That potential to "Make Acolyte Great Again" is what makes a possible future project exciting.

I am wondering also about the vergence in the force which is apparently how OSHA and Mey came to be. I am curious if they are more relevant to a bigger story than they are given credit for. Since, they are created from the vergence and are in fact both one and the same as opposed to twins. Is it possible they may in fact be a major character when they have a better understanding of what they really are?

Osha shouldn't have been able to bleed the kyber crystal so quickly and easily. Vader almost went insane doing it. I just feel like Disney keeps making changes to the lore that aren't going to go well with we old school fans.

I stopped watching the creators who hate this show because they get so hyperbolic and cringe, so Disney would definitely get a lot of backlash, but ultimately it's going to be a business decision. As far as I understand, the show has not helped drive up subscription revenue, so I don't think it will get a second season. Of course, I hope I'm wrong and it does get a second season because I truly enjoyed it.

If you look at a picture of the Muun, you can see the head and face is elongated more than the person in the cameo. It also looks like a mask covering the nose and lower face so it could be a Bith. I think the cameo was Darth Tenebrous instead of it being Darth Plagueis.
I’m pretty sure it was confirmed by the showrunner in an interview that it is Plagueis. I would’ve liked to see Tenebrous though. We might see him in season 2.

4:24 KOTOR is also considered part of the Legends. I’m waiting for the moment when Revan will be used in a completely different way, with his story altered and not respecting the original. He will be used simply because he is a popular character. Would you be ok with something like that? The same thing happened with Plagueis. There should be respect for those who created the original content. Here, he was used as a cameo. This could have made sense, but it diminishes the Sith lineage, and the series suggests that Plagueis learned the knowledge of creating life from the witches, which undermines his character. In my opinion, there is no respect for the original material here. It doesn't break canon, but it does break lore because legends are huge expansion.
@@Byronic19134 maybe because it was mentioned he collects bodies he may be using vessels but i believe since we saw Plagueis in his Mun body i believe well see Venamis in his Bith form. Season 2 could start off with Plagueis killing Tenebrous in the mines and taking the throne. It would make sense why they show him coming out a cave at the end. He probably was searching for Venamis (Qimir) because the rule of two and Plagueis knew he had another apprentice. Qimir may have to steal bodies to hide his identity. Thats probably why he wasnt too worried about the mask coming off. I believe he’s going to have to return to his true form and Plagueis will probably have Sidious defeat Venamis in the end of season 2
I’m with you on most of this but I don’t think he’s a Sith or that the Sith are on the minds of the Jedi. Definitely a fallen or dark Jedi but not a Sith. Plagueis traveled all over the galaxy any time he learned of someone using the dark side or felt someone powerful in it. He was constantly looking for a potential apprentice until he found Palpatine on Naboo. Doesn’t mean the Sith play a hand in this series. I think his cameo was just talent scouting.

falling to the dark side is far more easier than many of the "true" fans think. Jedi always try to avoid this and we have to give them credits for.

I stopped watching the creators who hate this show because they get so hyperbolic and cringe, so Disney would definitely get a lot of backlash, but ultimately it's going to be a business decision. As far as I understand, the show has not helped drive up subscription revenue, so I don't think it will get a second season. Of course, I hope I'm wrong and it does get a second season because I truly enjoyed it.

Vernestra didn't know about the original cover up by Master Sol and Master Indara. As far as she knows, Sol could have BS'n her all along and could have fallen to the dark side. Did she cover it up or does she really believe that Sol went rogue?
When she went back to Brendok in the last episode she has a force vision about what happened that night with the witches. She knows.
If you look at a picture of the Muun, you can see the head and face is elongated more than the person in the cameo. It also looks like a mask covering the nose and lower face so it could be a Bith. I think the cameo was Darth Tenebrous instead of it being Darth Plagueis.

The same thing happened with Plagueis. There should be respect for those who created the original content. Here, he was used as a cameo. This could have made sense, but it diminishes the Sith lineage, and the series suggests that Plagueis learned the knowledge of creating life from the witches, which undermines his character.
In my opinion, there is no respect for the original material here.
It doesn't break canon, but it does break lore because legends are huge expansion.

@@Byronic19134 maybe because it was mentioned he collects bodies he may be using vessels but i believe since we saw Plagueis in his Mun body i believe well see Venamis in his Bith form. Season 2 could start off with Plagueis killing Tenebrous in the mines and taking the throne. It would make sense why they show him coming out a cave at the end. He probably was searching for Venamis (Qimir) because the rule of two and Plagueis knew he had another apprentice. Qimir may have to steal bodies to hide his identity. Thats probably why he wasnt too worried about the mask coming off. I believe he’s going to have to return to his true form and Plagueis will probably have Sidious defeat Venamis in the end of season 2
I’m with you on most of this but I don’t think he’s a Sith or that the Sith are on the minds of the Jedi. Definitely a fallen or dark Jedi but not a Sith. Plagueis traveled all over the galaxy any time he learned of someone using the dark side or felt someone powerful in it. He was constantly looking for a potential apprentice until he found Palpatine on Naboo. Doesn’t mean the Sith play a hand in this series. I think his cameo was just talent scouting.
