      It's difficult to choose one because ultimately it depends on which particular series you are going to buy. AMD and Intel both come with long range of products. But if you take the latest versions of both of them, you'll probably find AMD better placed than its Intel counterpart.

      I saw the link you shared and that's what I thought initially as well. Some other viewers also requested for this tutorial, so may be we will plan something. But I hardly understand what is so special in this video 😂😂 Add a cube, enlarge it in height, add text on its surface, add some materials, add a flag if you need (we covered flag in another tutorial) - then duplicate it as many times as you need for each company/ each country. Rest is a nice camera movement - we are coming up with a camera tutorial that can be suitable for any scene like this, scheduled for coming Wednesday. But other than that I do not find anything to learn from here or anything that we can discuss separately in a tutorial. So I am kind of holding back the idea of a tutorial on this because I am not sure what I will explain there 🤔🤔

    Once again , a very accessible project. Thank you. How do I go about resizing this in a scene? Scaling doesn't seem to work. Do I also need to delete all bakes and rebake all dynamics with each time I move it? To import this into another project , would I do this through append and would it keep the cloth motion?

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, if you resize the cloth/flag, you need to bake it again because the cloth will have change in its deformation, it won't be just a fixed multiple of the earlier shape. About importing, if you bake the cloth as part of the Blender file (without selecting Disk Cache in the Cache section under Cloth physics), the simulation will also get imported to the new project when you append. It will work even without adding a force field etc. But if you bake it to Disk Cache, you need to bake it again in the new project. And in this case you need the force field etc. in the new project as well.

      @@5MinutesBlenderThank you for your reply, I will try these tips. One last question, how would I approach cutting holes into the flag, I'm trying to make it look frayed and torn, in Photoshop I created holes and used it as a PNG but there is a kind of dark texture covering the ability to see through the holes. Is there a way of doing that?

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bobdobs8855 Instead of making holes in the texture image, it is better to cut actual holes on the flag object (using boolean modifier for example, if you need help on how to cut a hole you can check our tutorial on that subject separately). It will keep the cloth physics more perfect and accurate. However, if you insist on doing it through texture, you need to select Alpha blend in the Blend mode for the material, and connect the Alpha output of your Image Texture node to the Alpha input of the Principled BSDF.

    • @bobdobs8855

      Rigid body and cloth sim do not contradict each other, they work together without any special arrangements. After 250 frame flag is stopping to moving. How flag move continue to wave ???

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      By default, Blender uses 250 frames for any physics simulation, but you can easily change this. Select the flag and go to the cloth physics settings. Under the section called Cache, you'll see a field called End frame. Increase this number as you need and bake the physics again. Now the flag should wave as long as you want. Please let me know if this does not fix your issue.

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The solution is to increase the cache length when you bake the cloth physics for the flag. Under the cloth physics, in the cache section, you have a start frame and an end frame number. Just increase it to match with your animation length. Same philosophy for all physics settings, only the cache may be placed in a different location or the name may be slightly different.

    Sorry beginner here, why whenever I add an image texture and then add an image, the image just turns upside down?

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The orientation of your image on the actual object follows its UV map. Many primitive objects (like cube, plane etc) come with a UV map, otherwise Blender can also generate a default map in the absence of any explicit UV map. In your case, this UV map is probably upside down, so the picture is showing upside down as well. You can rectify this map in the UV editor. Otherwise for a quick solution, you can add a texture coordinate node and connect it to a mapping node where you can add a 180 degree rotation around the z-axis. Then use its output as the input vector for your image texture node.

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess the geometry of the plane has something wrong, or maybe a wrong scale parameter. Do one thing. Select the plane and add cloth physics as usual. In the outliner ensure that the plane is still selected. Now keep your cursor in the 3D viewport and press the decimal key (dot key) from the numeric keypad (NOT on the main keyboard). This will zoom the viewport to the object which is currently selected (the plane). So you will know where it is. This won't solve the issue but we will get a clue about the source of the problem. Please let me know what you found.
