i hope AC 6 contains a mixture of next gen normals (bigger normals) and NEXTs so that there are 2 different play styles. The normals can have something that can curb a NEXT's flying capability and NEXTs kinda stomp normals in general because of the flying. But there can be an intermingling of parts creating hybrids.
While these guys use a tank setup, that IS the general gist of the Normals of ACV and ACVD, they're essentially Normals with the barebones of NEXT technology thats why they perform so much better than the Normals of AC4 and ACFA. Combined with competent Ravens behind the controls, a pitiful, mashed together NEXT can be bested, even if that copy is based on the infamous White Glint.
N-WGIX has a tail piece of the "Filial" class disorder unit, 063AN legs and arms which are BFF pieces Body is Lahire-type Reverse engineered boosters and a model number in reference to the second white glint. My guess is that there is such a huge amount of time that passed between FA and V, that the events of FA and 4 are lost and that no one really knows what happened during those times. I do know for a fact that 4, 4A, V and VD are not in the same universe as the previous Armored Core games.
There is a way to kill him with one UNAC tank with auto cannoncs and KE missiles, and an AC heavy bipebal with one sniper cannon, 2 KE rifles and KE missiles. It is not difficuld, i have made it like 4 times. Same as kill motherwill and LiV with one AC (no UWs usage).
I think it is Kojima :D in the opening cutscene you can see he has Primal Armour too. Hes basically a buffed up version of the campaign boss. Basically a revamped White Glint

It was because we all built a double bladed white glint the muck about before completely specing it and combining it with sombrero parts. His 2nd phase was exactly that. An overboosted, only booster shoulder mounts with dual blades as weapon. Constant 1.2k km/h beating a NEXT specialized on overboost movement only.
ive got this game and im not near this boss yet but i remember the base verion of it in the original armoured core 5 (and that was a bitch) so going off those blades (which it looks like it would never miss as they have blades coming out of them) im gonna have to re work my tatics and my "beast" since my best mech was cerberus (yes it worked like a dog loyal and hard as hell) lol but most of the parts are scrapped so i cannot build it as good again
and the fact its a NEXT from For Answer's time (well reverse engineered at least) and is incompatiable with "current" technology that is much less advanced due to societal decay.
The power supply of both is also very different, Next parts having evolved so distantly from Normals that they can't operate on each other's parts. It's akin to how different animal species are unable to breed after branching out far enough from a common ancestor. As understanding of Armored Core technology is reestablished, the two branches may eventually intermingle. Hopefully they will solve the issue of Kojima radiation as well, or find a suitable substitute. Then again, the next generation of ACs may forego raw AC quality (as was the case of Nexts) for accessible yet modular ACs (as is the case for 5th generation ACs), or some kind of mid-ground where one can have both accessible weapons and quality weapons.
That would be pretty cool XD Its annoying as hell though as they nulled most of the boss battles down too, If you don't have a Auto Cannon tank your gonna get owned. Still a fun fight to do though ^^
