We truly are like 2 kids playing on the rock pile...lol We love it and love to share it with our friends. Mostly life is a bear and most folks really are searching for the child like wonder and fun, that we used to have as kids and soooo why not?...LOL

OMGG! Hello SeaJay, I just found your channel and am quite enchanted by the way you show people how to find Agates Galore! I have also been collecting stones and Agates since I was a small child. Then moved away from it in my teens and began again in my late 20's and totally lost myself to the stone people at 30. Here I am at 58 and still falling in love with them every day. I have a strong pull for Crystals and a huge love for Agates and Jasper. But, I also love finding Heart shaped Leaverites. [ A Leaverite stone is not worth anything except to the one who finds it.] It's any ordinary looking rock that most people would just "Leaver- right- where- you-found-it" Hence..."Leaverite". I Love your energy when you are finding the stones, as you glow with excitement. I do the same when I go rock hunting. So nice to see someone else enjoying them as much as I do. Wishing you both Love, Light, Peace, and Happiness. Namaste!

LOL, I do adore a good stone & rock hunt & finding ... thank you for watching & the wonderful compliments! If you are drawn to crystals, you should visit Crystal Park Montana ... you will go NUTS!! You pay $5 to park & anything you dig up is yours!

And I'm really digging this rockhounding hobby. You're very good ambassadors for rockhounding. So kind and knowledgeable. Not all that over the top masculinity on other channels that's very off putting for a female just getting started. Thank you so incredibly much.

They have to get rocks from somewhere local! Always ask for permission to go thru someone's rocks. You will probably get some weird looks, but rockhounds always get looks, stares, or glazed eyes when we get to describing all the cool things we know about beautiful agates, gemmy jaspers, & amazing crystals! Yes, when Mother Nature turns on her spray bottle (rain), it is one of the best times to look for rocks!! You are most welcome, happy hounding!

Also joining a local gem & mineral group to learn from some older rockhounds on what to look for ... Another easy way is to Google minerals found in your area.... I hope this helps ... Only if you are willing to spend $$$, labor & time to create a beautiful piece of wearable art, then sell it for a loss of 1/3 of what you paid out ... oh, and not worry about getting paid for your labor or time! Lol!! And do that for about 5 to 7 years, or however long it takes for you to get your name out there & get a reputation for your art. Seriously, this is a labor of love & passion, creating a beauty out what others see as "just a rock"! That is why we both have other jobs to pay the bills & pay for the supplies! Thank you for watching our content!!

Johnathan, I am always willing to help id rock as best as I can from a photo .... the pics will need to be in focus, in natural light, but not necessarily bright light. I can't say I will be 100% correct because id'ing some rocks take all the senses ... sight, touch, hearing, smell, & yes, taste. There are some tests you can do to eleminate rocks ... the Mohs Hardness test, the Streak test, the Specific Gravity test, & of course, the research test (of which you have complete step one, asking for help). You can send the pics to the email in the description. Thanks for watching our content & commenting! It helps our channel and hopefully we can help you in return.

      Is that near Istanbul?
The Marmara islands proper in the southwest, off Kapıdagı Peninsula; these have granite, slate, and marble that have been quarried since antiquity-hence the sea’s name (Greek marmaros, “marble”). Not sure if these reach to the coast or not but the sea itself has a fault line running through it and that's always good news for rockhounds.
As we discovered in our recent trip (through Idaho to Montana) granite can be so beautiful 😍.
Maybe you could do some exploring along the coastline and lets us know what you find. Take some good quality close up pictures of some of the rocks, in good light and send them to us in our email. (Our email is in the description of all our videos). We'll help you ID them.
The Bostancı shore in Istanbul shows some real potential along it's shoreline and now that Turkey has cleaned up most of the seasnot, the visibility should be much better in the coastal sea area.
Good luck and let us know what you find.
      Be well our new friend

Hey, sorry this response is so late. We usually answer TH-cam messages from our TH-cam app and we've just discovered it doesn't transfer all the messages. If you are a Facebook person, then look us up and we can "friend" each other!
