I would absolutely never bring my rabbit on a plane if they had to be in the back carriage. I would want my rabbit with me so I could make sure they are okay. Especially with how fragile rabbits are.
My rabbit had to travel as cargo from New Zealand to Ireland, as it is such a long flight 30+ hours. I explained how fragile rabbits are so they done supervised cargo, every couple of hours a flight attendant would check on him and top up his food/water as needed

they need to get their facts checked.

Yes, rabbits are really good travelers. Took a trip across the country with a bunny. He laid in the back window and we were honked by passing travelers that loved him. My current bun has been on two long road trips and did exceptionally well. 👍🐰❤️
Lennon is so sweet. And having bunnies and working at a shelter i see daily that people see bunnies as lesser than cats or dogs..I'm so glad to see you out there advocating...I also always hear horror stories and people joking about eating. Which is always upsetting

honestly this channel has helped me so much; i went from having my rabbit in a cage to completely free roaming her and using cat litter boxes and water bowls. i would be so lost without loreli, so thank you! :)
I've flown with my bunny a few times. When I was doing my research, the "public issues" they mentioned were how a rabbit can escape from their bag and go and chew up all the cords on the plane! They classified them as rodents.
But they are not... although they chew cords. 😅
a dog or cat or even baby can do that too. they should secure the cords in the first place!

I just found this channel, and can I say I’m so .. I don’t know I’m wordless to be honest.. I’m so happy you care for animals this much. I ahve a Guinea pig and her name is s’mores, she always kisses me and she used to always be scared of me. And bit me. But I didn’t give up on her because I loved her too much. And now she’s amazing. I took my guy Phil home with me last month! He is such a good traveler... and he actually loves his carrier! Spirit made it so easy for us too. I stocked his carrier with hay and brought a small bag of his soiled litter to put in his temporary litter box.
people need to open up their eyes to rabbits, their cute, love-able, and clean! honestly, people need to think about that rabbits are pets too! rabbits should be allowed on flights if people want them to.

I've never flown with a bunny, but my mom and I drove across country with my rabbit Mischief. No problems, really, except finding once or twice a motel that accepted pets. She traveled in her pet carrier, with a water bottle, some hay, and some pellets in her regular food bowl. I covered the carrier with a large fluffy towel that had been soaked then wrung out with clean water. We stopped several times per day to give her (and us) a rest. Every night she got out and ran around the room. I kept her regular litter box and clay litter with us. She did fine.

You should look at petco in the small animal section. Btw I don’t mean to sound rude I’m just trying to help
I recommend a pelleted pine litter for deodorizing, you can get it at petco called FelinePine or from a farmer market for a lot cheaper, just ask for PELLETED PINE.. not pine shavings.
If you want just regular litter/bedding then I would recommend something like Care Fresh or Kaytee clean and cozy

I actually felt safer bringing her with me (especially since our destination doesn't have an outbreak) rather than leaving her at bunny boarding where she could be exposed to it by other rabbits :)

@@22quietmouse rhdv2 is a rabbit virus that is going around the US right now. It can affect wild rabbits as well as domestic rabbits. Im pretty sure there is a video explaining it on Lennon's channel when she got vaccinated for it.
Thats awesome that you are getting a rabbit! I've always liked the name Thyme for a brown female rabbit, but I have a rabbit and he is going to get a companion (which he chooses) so I don't want to think of a name until I know what rabbit he picks 😂

I brought my rabbit, Mango, to Canada from Barbados (where I adopted her) last year. What a process. I had to apply for a permit, had to have my house in Canada inspected for quarantine (30 days), and I had to get her on a plane, and she had to be inspected by a vet when I landed (which...took over 3 hours for the vet to arrive - but thankfully the customs guys were so great, offered to get her veggies and everything!), and I had to pay the lovely import fee!
WestJet allows rabbits BUT doesn't allow any pets to/from Barbados, which obviously needs to change because that was based on old import/export rules. Air Canada allows pets, but not rabbits (officially, anyways). Fortunately I paid the $100 fee as a "cat" and no one had any issue with it. The most she did was dig in her carrier. People were so fascinated by her because she's a flemish/dutch mix, so she's pretty large for a bun!
Would I do this again? Probably, but hopefully by then airlines recognize that rabbits are way less of a threat.

So great! What an awesome and successful trip! Yes, I got the same thing: “ i’m sorry ma’am but rabbits pose a public health risk.” In 2018 I was living in a little cabin in my friends backyard with my bunny in South Florida. In September we were right in the main path of Irma going 185 miles an hour. I needed to get out of there. I called three airlines and implored them to let me bring my bunny on the plane. None of them would let me. There was no way I was leaving him there even in the care of someone else. So he and I drove up to Rhode Island together and we had the best time. But I’m so glad to see this video and that there are some airlines that allow it. And they allowed you to let him out of his carrier in flight, that’s just wonderful!

I just found out yesterday in going to Europe soon for work and have been needing to neuter my bunny as soon as possible. Crazy how this video just came out a day later omg
My auntie (born 1949) lived in West Berlin when there was still the Berlin Wall, and we live in the West of Germany. She had a giant black and white rabbit called Fips, and she always traveled with him. She would always come by plane to visit us, although it was very expensive back then. She could have come by car, but East German border police wouldn‘t allow her to travel with Fips, and she would probably have ended up in prison if she tried anyway 🙈
Fips was used to traveling and didn’t care. But on one occasion he escaped from her bag on arrival, and she had to chase him over the air field 😂

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER
