This MV based on the Greek mythical story of Eros and Psyche, Hoyeon's role with a good performance representing Eros and a male actor representing Psyche. Eros, who was hard at falling in love with others, falls in love with Psyche, but there is a scene in which Lieung, the role of Aphrodite who hated Psyche in the myth, interferes. And it's my interpretation and opinion on this MV

I agree! The painting is Eros running away from Psyche; like the myth, but I found it a bit interesting that it wasn't her running away from the man. I think that NewJeans may represent Greek Daimons possibly taking on the personification of love.

u guys were on the right track with u mentioned Cupid! u guys need to react to Side B! I def agree that NJ is just different! Min Hee-jin and ADOR be playing chess while the rest of the k-pop industry be playing checkers! Shin Wooseuk, the director of this MV, also directed "Ditto" and "OMG"

The story of this mv is based on the movie City of Angels.
This film tells the story of an angel who falls in love with a woman and decides to become human to be with her.
But shortly afterwards the woman he fell in love with dies.
In short, his transition to human was in vain.
In the Cool With You mv the woman is a cupid who fell in love with a man to the point of completely forgetting what her job is. Throughout the MV you see her ignore a chance to make the guy fall in love with other woman because now she wants him.
At the end of the "A" MV, she gives up her divinity to live her human love.
At first everything works out but then when she goes to meet him, another cupid appears behind the guy and she understands everything.
She is desperate because she knows that the other cupid is going to make her boyfriend fall in love with another woman..
And that's what happens.
Now she's alone without love and without her immortality.

Black dress= Cupid
Old man=Venus
Side A Cupid create so many love for human one day she fall in love with a men, and Angel saw it , so Angel allowed Cupid to become human being to enjoy real love (the part she undress and wash under rain)
side B she finally get to the man who is the artist paint for her, they enjoy the real love until the old men Venus appear to dis allowed them togater, ending Get up the Cupid hate Angel because they let her feel the sad of broke up.....story continue at full MV of Get up
My own guess according to internet , Taehyung are supposed appear in one of the MV , he might be the real men for the Cupid later at the Get Up MV.

The girl in the black dress is Cupid as you can see in the the elevator she makes the guy and the girl fall in love with each other.While in the process of doing Cupid things she ends up falling for a human.(There’s more in the B-side but l don’t want to spoil anything)
