I for one enjoy the city showcases, you can keep em coming. I like seeing late game, 'finished' builds, which we don't see til we have some dozens of episodes of a regular series
insane scale, love the network spaghetti looks so good, id love a city this big but i love my house not burning down more XD love these showcases my second fav egg content next to koh khoi
I downloaded this city aswell. Played it first on my laptop with a 3060 and my laptop sounded like a Boeing 747 taking off. Runs smooth on my dual 4090 PC though. Good city aswell.
@@MikeDawson1technically you can but it's super unnecessary for video games and brings no benefit due to optimization issues/bottleneck.. unless this dude is a tech wizard
i definetly noticed a few things i plan to adopt into my city, warchin this, absolutely insane. but one small thing... the obsurd amount lanes.... ahhh
Wow! What a smoke! I love the layered highways and roads. You see a lot of it in the major Japanese cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. It really is a creative way of getting traffic moving without using a lot of space. I don't know if the UK has those layered highways, but I really think Australia could do with them. Particularly in cities like Sydney where nothing was really planned until the 1990's. I remember as a little kid in the 80's, Sydney was just a massive urban sprawl of main roads, and red roofs. There were no motorways to get anywhere. Now I think they need these layered motorways. One level going one way, while the other level goes the other way. The Japanese have utilised this very effectively.
What a huge city!! It's really nice and I wish we could see it running with that many people. No doubt it's great to look at on pause even. I love the lanes on top of other lanes. You see that quite a bit in America. Thanks for showing it to us🤩 My computer won't even play the game and has some issues. It would laugh at me if I tried to start a game up like that 😁
1stly An amazing city, this guy really knows how to built a city, the only let down is how slow the simulation gets which i dont think CO will ever be able to overcome? and next question is if people can use all 529 tiles will there be a mod to allow us to build outside of this ?
Very nice, used every inch of space in creative and visually interesting ways, that flow beautifully around the city. Love it. Thank you for sharing. 🥃🥃
I love this map! I have 300k population right now with a ton of space to develop. Just taking my time. My rig should be able to handle this map with ease.
Hey egg, i would suggest you upgrade your PC with an eggo GPU micro chip, lol. But jokes aside, i hope that the cities that you are reviewing can give you some inspiration to your current and future builds. I will give you two of my ideas, one which you could build a road that has every possible public transit, and you can use it as a main hub for transitions. Or you could even add train tracks with roads and use that as a way to do a main tour of the CBD in one of your builds. Anyways I am looking forward to your builds and make sure to always have fun while building them.🥚🥚 P.S: I hope you can continue to make lores, and who knows, probably someone in the community could make them as probs and you can use them to decorate your cities and plazas. 😂😊
I wish traffic was a lot more intense like a real city and busy highways. Or even concerts challenges where tens of thousands of people try to come to one area of the city.
Actually the (political) assembly Diet is pronounced exactly the same way as the Dietary regimen (which why Diet of Worms isn't as bad as it sounds, it's actually a history political/religious meeting in the town/city of Worms) and might be the older of the 2 terms.
my city of 1.3 million is having a issues where all my office jobs keep going down to 5 max and bunch of homeless people despite having full demand for everything
im building a new computer, anyone know if what cpu will be better for sc2? 9800X3D that does well in all games i fell, or the Core 9 ultra thats allot better at evrything else then games? Feel like this game need the cores from the ultra 9?
How is that even possible? Does the game still simulate numbers wise even though its incapable of visually simulating? I can't build past about 200k before it visually stops moving and I have a higher end computer, not top shelf but higher end. I feel like you would need a super computer that only a university or government could afford to run a city with a million in population.
Don't think you'll need a supercomputer. CS2 can make use of many-core CPUs, so something like a 7950x, 14900k or a Threadripper CPU could have a good go at it with enough RAM. The game does cheat a bit with the simulation though. As the population increases it reduces the number of journeys by getting people to stay at home instead of travelling to work, and teleporting some resources around instead of using goods trucks. There's a mod that allows you to turn off the traffic reduction feature, or make it more prominent (eg, as a performance enhancement).
I have a _lot_ of criticisms about this game but man, the asset design is not one of them. Compared to vanilla CS1 it's a massive step up. On the parking I don't agree with slivers of grass but I do definitely agree there's too much parking because let me pose a simple question: Where do those who park walk without being run over? Remember, it's not just cars that enter car parks. I especially love the idea of grannies in mobility scooters terrorising the residents by doing donuts of a night. Think Fast and Furious but with OAPs.
My computer would melt trying to open this city. This is incredible! The scale and detail is awesome
My computer would laugh at me for even attempting…
Me: *Attempts to load
My computer: *laughs in blue screen
Would it be possible to see this at night? Or is the same problem as the simulation?
@@sergiogaribayluna7412 its possible, you can use mod or photo mode to set it to night.

Finally, a Cities Skylines City that isn’t flooded with tall high rises to get high population!
If the skyline would be bigger the population would be even more😂😂.

I like how the public transit works handling such big cities.
my pc is overheating watching this LOL
I've only just put the fire out this city caused inside my pc
Oooooh I love a good showcase! 🙂

this is the kind of city i think a lot of people want to end up making, but can never follow through with. really cool
You ain't never lied.
Partly because past 300k the game becomes unplayable lmao
True
hi ally!
Awesome city! Love the multiple downtown areas and lovely campuses. Lots of tunnels, bridges and a great balance of grids and curved roads.
Somebody did their research about bridge barriers , real nice
You love to see it

Cant wait to have my city done. I'm building a 1 to 1 detail wise of Minneapolis
I got a call from your GPU, It tried to reach the nearest fire station ! Very impressive build !

In the Southern United States those random grassy areas are common in industrial parks and small commercial areas
This city was built on NASA grade supercomputer
I would never showcase my city because of the ridiculous city names like the lovely city of Ben Dover, or Borsa Pansov Estate.

Damn that scale. I'm working on a Hong Kong inspired city right now we will see if it can reach this much lol
The waterfront highway placement reminds me of Japan with their stacked road networks
City Sculptor is the best, especially because he is doing it in vanilla
City Sculptor is great!
A ton of support for cars- big freeways and main roads, big parking lots- but everyone seems to get around by public transport.
1stly An amazing city, this guy really knows how to built a city, the only let down is how slow the simulation gets which i dont think CO will ever be able to overcome? and next question is if people can use all 529 tiles will there be a mod to allow us to build outside of this ?
With those golf holes close to houses, I hope the houses have good insurance for replacement windows/car dents.
Lots of neighborhoods like that in the USA. Moslty elderly people live in them. They love having a golf course in their backyard.
Very nice, used every inch of space in creative and visually interesting ways, that flow beautifully around the city. Love it.

if only this, or even half of this was possible with decent gameplay.
in reality, unplayable after maximum of 300k population
You're the first big CS channel that's acknowledged Citysculptor. I swear that guy came out of nowhere and no ones heard of him yet.
Is it OK running with your PC specification (how much RAM do you have?)?
Geez this is art

Superb work! My God! Awesome job! 😲
Absolutely impressive work! This video gave me a lot of idea about my city (of course if my computer will not blow up 😊)
Definitely agree that the stacked roads mechanic seems to be underutilised!

One of the most realistic cities i've seen in size and density

What Dark Arts PC config is this City running on? 😅
I don't know if you mentioned this, but this city bears a lot of similarities to Vancouver Canada.
T4rget has a video from about a month ago with a wild design that's great.
Dude, whenever you giggle, it puts smile on my face. You got infectious laughter lol (no homo!! haha)
Incredible! Do you have a savegame?

what kind of pc setup would run this monstruosity smoothly in the highest setting?
why no for mac ?
WOW! That is amazing 😮
You need to have 1.5 million gigs of RAM for it to even load without the game crashing to Windows
Best city I’ve ever honestly seen
Hey what is your PC specs? Because if it is a good PC and you are running it at that fps at low graphics... that would be concerning
... I just realized that your monitor is QHD, yet video is 4K. You render the game at higher resolution for anti-aliasing?
My FPS went to neg -300 watching this!

it's just such a shame that every city in CS2 looks so damn clean, that makes it look so fake

honestly it's too suburban to be interesting. mid and high rise mix and also mixed use when?
Scale it up and hook yourself Into and you have the matrix. Still a long way, but one day it is where we live
Wow Egg what a city that us 1.5mill inhabitants
I thought you could only get it to like 100k population on a top graphics card or something?
