Several years ago transperth ran a P patten which ran express to Perth from Fremantle so it's really great to see a 6 car run to the airport. I would've thought they would stop at Claremont station on way back.
I'd be interested to see the printed map supplied to drivers for this. It sounds like the wrong map was supplied or produced, which is exactly the sort of bungle that made me hate driving special events... A bit like the official northbound Mandurah line train replacement route, which was supposed to take a very unnecessary grand tour of Wellard (including traversing the entire Western side of Lambeth Circle), when you could just use Runnymede Gate, Lambeth Circle and Chiswick Parade. The left turn onto High St is a turn I'd have straddled. Even turning left off of High St onto Ord in a Midi could be tricky.

Yep those were the weird patterns before 2016/2019 which I was talking about at some points in the video and never went on.
The airport line express is the service we deserved + stop at east Perth and bayswater

Yeah their speed is especially prominent in the Airport Line tunnels.
