Geese are seasonal. They fly South when the lakes freeze, and yes, they are viciously territorial, though usually only of their nests and very young goslings. Also, it can break your leg with one beat of its wings.

The hockey stick on the building is, indeed, a Tim Horton's, which is probably why the hockey stick says 'Tim Horton's" on it. You can tell by the shade of brown paint. I think Tim's has it trademarked.
The driving sober in Halifax is going around every pothole. The drunk driver doesn't sweee at all and hits all the potholes. 😃😃😃😃

do that in hamilton ontarrio they still pull you over breath and blood test clean but they still arrest you for drunk driving if you're disabled and cant do the field test. that was a fun day a few hours in jail and months of entertainment going to court for the cop being charged with discrimination and false arrest. did he get fired? no he got a few months paid vacation for the trial then demoted to a desk cop did he go to jail? nojust paid a fine and reperations
context of the original insident it was 430 am i was coming homeon an empty street swerved to miss a pot hole a cop was sitting in his car at tims pulled me over insisted nay demanded i was drunk he asked why my eyes were glazy i said why you need some for the donuts first mistake cops dont like humor. so he got pissed off for that and asked me again i said i dont know probably my medication he asked why im all over the road i said because this city pays the police to much and not enough on road maintenance. he asked me to get out of the truck i grabbed my cane he said for a field sobriety test i cant use it then claimed that because it was behind my seat he could charge me with a concealed weapon. atleast he let me drive the block home before he arrested me to take me for blood
The geese are overly protective of their young. The little ones are big enough now that when I was sitting on a bench by a pond here, a whole family walked by me within about 2 meters. It's still funny how the adults constantly act as sentries.
Geese stay here year round because they are able to find food. They eat plants and seeds
Canadian geese when they are in Canada are nesting so they are very territorial. Then they go to the states and are calm and laid back. People in the USA think we're nuts because we complain but they're version of the bird is on holiday.
FYI - any species of goose/geese born in Canada could be referred to as a Canadian goose but only one specific breed is named/called a Canada goose/ Canada geese 🇨🇦🦫✌

Canada geese are only ornery during mating and nesting season. After that, they’re just regular geese.
