for gems and the lack of puzzle rings at the start I find it more consistent to do bounty chests of ghom, maghda, azmodan, rakanoth and doing the visions of enmity along the way. Bloodshards usually only use to try to land ancients.
Another thing to note, an item has to be level 70 to reforge into ancient. So don't try to reforge your level 31 puzzle rings. I figured that out the hard way a few seasons back 😑
Don't know if I'm alone thinking this or not, but rolling a GOOD (not even GREAT) ring or amulet has to be the most gruesome grindy experience of a gamer's life. Getting one to be ANCIENT AND WITH SOCKET takes sooooo many tries, then it has bad stats. Squirt's necklace seems to be universally used, can't find a single good one to wear, then Traveler's Pledge for a monk is also a pain to find or craft.
Filthy thanks for your valued videos on D3. Can you help, I have rolled 42 times in a roll to get an ancient hellfire for the Altar node but still no luck, any suggestions?
Easy primal recipe make and delete one of each character. Make a crusader, make 4 single handed fails, upgrade them in the cube, boom primal flail. Repeat for a total of 110 ashes and upgrade all of your rings to primal for ancient vaults
This does not seem to work for me. My alter is filled, I get double legs from Kalala, but at Level 31, 80% are blue magic rings and I only get one puzzle ring out of every 1800 shards. Not worth the time or effort, and it is a waste of shards for only one puzzle ring .
I've used this method with better luck than that. How big is your sample size? It's RNG, after all. If you've only run < 5000 shards, that's not a sufficient sample size to establish a pattern.
hi I have a question. How can i craft 70lvl weapon for season quest if i have in altar no level requirement and all weapons have only 1 lvl. thx and good and interesting video.
Can a 31 WD reforge level 70 main stat strength gear into level 70 main stat Intelligence gear? I'm playing Barbarian this season so gearing up Enchatress is going slowly with lack of Int rolls
@@FilthyCasual96 cool. This season im committed to not building the necro i build every season, so needed the int gear. One thing that might be obvious but never pointed out, an advantage of starting seasons with necro is having an INT character to craft INT gear for enchantress. Something im keeping in mind for future seasons wherr I'll main a DEX or STR class
@@LimitBreakr424You can reroll the main stat into int on a level 1 character, so not much of a point to specifically play an int class unless you want to. You just need to find the right items and convert the main stat. Followers also get a 2.5x stat multiplier so reaching 25,000 main stat on them to cap out their skill effects is fairly easy.
How much did you try it? I've used it, and it's pretty effective. The drop rate on a 31 WD is about what Filthy says, roughly anyway. If you only tried a few loads of shards, then the RNG can suck, but over time, you should get roughly the number he suggest -- roughly 1 for 750 shards on average.
The red gems didn't lined up at the beginning is making me shaking my head.
Rings and Chestpieces+Boots are bugged with the altars x2 Legendary chance btw. It simply does not work for those.

I knew as soon as I saw the title this was gonna be the good ol lvl 31 witch doctor
Of course this is one of the very last seasons I’ll probably playing. I learned this awesome trick thanks bro.

Do you ever stream.on twitch? I would watch you game d3!
I didn't hear you say it on the video, but side note - these level 31 created puzzle rings CANNOT be re-rolled into an ancient ring in the cube.
As they are not lvl 70...
Thank you for saying this. I learned this the hard way a few seasons back lol
I did mean to mention specifically when I was discussing what to do with the level 70 rings but forgot
Thanks for the vid, I'm stuck on the ancient puzzle ring part of the alter 😂
You can always reforge a level 70 in the cube if you have the mats and the luck!
If you're on console check out my other comment for easy primals and just upgrade one in the cube

As a Julian, I’ve come to terms to call Nailuj evol as Julian Love.

Sorry buddy but that is just bad RnG - you just have to keep going. You are in the bottom 1% of the luck distribution curve at this point
I seldom use the Ancient Puzzle Ring. In my non Season Stash. I saved up to more than 50 Ancient Puzzle rings.
i already have too much puzzle rings

Unfortunately, recipes don't work on PC.
@@menakles I forgot it's only console the rolls are predetermined
Tried this on xbox and it doesn't seem to be working, any ideas?
@@Fibbywib did you make and delete one of each type of character 1st?
How many times have you watched Aliens?
Filthy: 5 by 5. By 5…to the 5th power
Haha, that might be right!
isnt it better to make a Crusader and craft cowsticks ?
Maybe, I’ve not run the comparison but worth a try and maybe a video idea 💡
Cow sticks probably better, there is so many mobs so you almost guarantee to get visions portal and gems from chests from not a cow level.
well lv 38 at gets 0-5 puzzle per 1k shards, most of times 1-5 rarely u get 0

Are paragons still capped at 800 or was that a one time thing
One time thing.
Is nonseason on same shape as season atm? with the altair, etc
No its not. On nonseason you dont have the altair, no Visions and ofc no seasontheme!
Thanks!

Once Haedrig is trained to max level, the level 70 items are the ones at the top of his list
Thanks
