literally one of the best games ever made, never once uninstalled it, still playing a 2 year old save because the journey isnt over yet for that group, top 5 games of all time ngl
@@damiens4601 My enjoyment of kenshi popped off like 2 months after playing it for the first time. I suddenly realized i wasnt playing "3rd person skyrim with no voice acting" but rather "single player Rust with cybernetics" And ive been having a lot of fun ever since
@@damiens4601 I think most people feel this way at first. It took me years of occasionally playing the game to get into it (less than 2-3 hours overall). One of the things I missed was the attention to detail within the world, the story of the world of Kenshi. I personally read on some of the lore from the wiki and loved it ever since. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi at all the story of the worlds works beautifully well.
Nook was playing Kenshi for years, but his memory was wiped clean afterwards. He doesn't know that "mist lantern" is a scam, a little joke of Kenshi, he doesn't remember why people at Stack ask for "dark ones" -- he would have waltzed in with his robot completely unaware... But he remembers beak things and lasers, so it's a partial wipe. Ingenious things those memory wipes, that's how you get a whole new game without paying for it!
No matter what, I just can't get into this game. I don't know why. Love the type. On paper would love it and I have watched you play it, but I tried playing it and it just didn't click for me.

No news about Kenshi 2 for a very long time :(
Man, there is nothing more Kenshi than a huge horde coming to eat you.

You gotta just keep at it. Eventually it clicks
you should keep giving yourself a chance with it over time, it really is worth it
It is an all time favorite. Brutal though
If you play Project Zomboid, play with at least one other player. It becomes old quick solo.
kenshi 2 is pre this with better tech
