Thanks for the informative video. My foot pad just popped off one day and I'm not sure why. Luckily I found this video after trying unsuccessfully to stick it back in without dismantling the MiniPro.
One thing I did, though, was I only removed the battery, rear bumper, NOT the front bumper, then partially removed the screws holding the top-side plate in. That made the top-side plate loose enough for me to put the foot pad back on. Still, wouldn't have been able to fix this had it not been for your video...Much Mahalos

I pulled off the footpads to clean and when I put on again the weight sensor didn't work right. Now I followed your guide and you saved my NineBot!!! Thank you very much.

Great video! My only suggestion is to add what type and size of driver bits to use, so the user can be prepared, as they're not your typical Phillips head.

I could never do this..., I would screw something up or lose parts etc. So I cut a wire clothes hanger and bent it into an "L". I was able to install the footpads by pushing one end into place, then while pressing downward on the pad, I used the tool to slide the rest of the pad in place. Both pads took less than 5 minutes to change. Got 300 miles on them since I replaced them and they seem fine. Now I got to do the tires and I'm dreading that!

please correct me if i am wrong.. it appears you cud have done thprecedure of removing the foot plates without removing the battery? Was there some screws hidden under the battery? in this process?

Hey ian, do you know if the tubeless tires can be fitted properly? Like how to check if the tire is perfectly fit to avoid slow deflation overtime? Because mine doesnt have puncture and stuff but seems like the fit isnt proper because the slime tire sealant is coming out on the side.

I can't get the red steering bar piece off… removed the grommet and the 2 screws but its stuck. Any suggestions? Tried a prybar to the point of breaking piece of plastic

Some heat might shift it - have you tried that? They are really easy to break when putting large force on them so be careful.

can you do me a huge favor. can you attempt to remove the center
column on your mini? I need to ship my mini to my sister, but after
removing the two screws at the base, the center column still will not
    come off!!!
I've tried to pry it off but it will not budge! I don't remember if it gets locked onto the shaft...
I have a mini and not the mini pro with QD release.

The 2 screws are the only thing holding it on, so not sure why it would not come off. If I did a video it would just show me taking out 2 screws and removing it lol. Wonder why its on so tight? Its a round shaft (see the picture here: www.speedyfeet.uk/Mini-Steering-Control-Joint-p/mini-steering-joint.htm < this is what it looks like with it removed)
      Hope this helps you!
