I got these and here’s a real review :
Traction is great I had no problems playing on a dusty court and never wiped once (don’t have to break it in) and the rubber on mine is hard asf so idk what they talking about 9/10
Cushion is great the Asian guy is to light to feel anything so that’s why the cushion is never good in these reviews 10/10
Very strong and durable material on the upper in person and on foot it looks amazing 10/10
Great lockdown only had to tighten the straps once 9/10
The fit is true to size I am a wide footer and I didn’t find it tight at all if your extra wide get half a size up 8/10
Ankle support is out of this world I felt very very stable the whole time 9/10
On foot it weighs nothing for me it’s almost like being bare foot 100/10
Ventilation is shit I was really hot after an hour 2/10

Dumb Bell from what he said. Ventilation is the only problem, but honestly all basketball shoes have bad ventilation. The only shoes with decent ventilation are Kobes.

I’ve had this on the black/red colorway for about 3 years now and they still going no problems so far. I play basketball with this ones and also use them to go outside whenever I have to go out fast cuz they have straps and I can put them on faster.
About to cop a pair of the black / red ones for hooping. I can’t wait.
I've played in soldiers 9 - 12 and my favorite is the 11 and my least favorite, by far, is the 12. The 11 felt really light and sturdy. The 4 straps allow you to have more control over where you want the tightness on your foot. I do understand the concerns with feeling unstable from being a little higher than you'd think but it's not overly pronounced. The 12 is bulky, a little heavy and I don't like the strap system. I'll cop these but not in this buzz lightyear colorway.
that inside ankle bone feels like some corner of hard plastic is stabbing into it when wearing these even tho there isnt any hard plastic there. i'm sometimes a 13 but 14 was better for me. the top of the toe area does feel a smidge restricting. but i havnt broken mine in yet.

I just got a pair of these yesterday and tried them on. They do run very snug, so if you don't like a tight fit, then I would go a half size up, that's what I'm going to do. If you do like a snug fit, stay true to your normal size.

I actually always get good cushion from the Soldier 12 and 13. Sammy can’t feel it probably bc he’s too small. There’s not a lot of compression (like it’s not super soft like the PG4 or some thick ass Boost), but the impact protection is great. You also feel some of that bounciness in the forefoot as well

Off topic. Do wearing low top shoes one of the factors wherein one could tear his achilles tendon? Just observed that some notable players who injured their achilles wore low to mid top shoes. (KOBE, KD, BOOGIE). I also remembered kobe wearing a very high kobe 9 after he got injured.

see when I bought this shoe, I bought it in Hong Kong and it was released before it was released in the UK. so I have this problem with the ankle areas where the buckle is on the outside are digging into my ankle bone and is creating great discomfort and causing bruising and also taking my skin off and therefore I do not wear this shoe often. I'm wondering if anyone has this problem and tell me how I can resolve this problem.

Finally video took almost 3 weeks to make.
I just got these shoes to hoop in but I stopped wearing them a couple weeks ago bc they hurt my right ankle bone on the inside of my foot. Has anyone else had this problem? It's right where the ankle cuff creases, feels like I sprained my ankle but as soon as I take them off, the pain stops. I thought about putting some extra pad/styrofoam on the side (layering socks hasn't helped) but am open to any suggestions
U should check out Joel embiid shoes it’s for bigger built guys but feels more like a point guard it’s really good in my opinion check em out

I sprained my ankle pretty bad with this shoes. No outrigger to prevenrt injury. I wouldnt recommend it for playing competitive basketball
