    I’ve been using wileys for years and recently switched to smiths. Night and day difference! No chafing on the cheeks or noticeable hot spots with the smiths so far.

      Agreed. The Wiley's I've tried simply did not work. Their Asian Fit was a poor attempt with just a different nose piece. It was not comfortable at all. They might have made new ones since but I can't confirm.

    I was anxiously anticipating the release of this video after you hinted it months ago. It looks like the Oakley's are your favorite? I think eyepro is an important investment if you plan on shooting a lot for the comfort and increased risk that you've alluded to. Thank you for this video, brother! 🤩

      Thanks, Chris! The ANSI vs. MIL rating link goes into RX eyepro and their respective ratings as well. I found it to be an interesting read. Many of the ballistic eyepro options have RX attachment ability as well. Take a look and LMK if it unlocked info for you.

    Really good video~ I only tried Oakley half jacket and it's perfectly fit. Now I am pretty interesting in Oakley SI Shock Tube, just not sure if it is fit. Is there any suggestions?😉

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't personally tried those but this is largely a personal preference and ergos thing. I'd say try it and return if it doesn't work for you. The biggest issue is finding a local shop that has them all for you to try.

    How are the Oakley SI M frames under a helmet? They look like they would impact the lid like the Echos.

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They fit fine but my issue is the arms colliding with the helmet and eventual hot spots. The NF gel cup cutouts don't align with my ears, so the only viable solution for me is to use goggles.

    • @itzjere
      @itzjere 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's too bad. They looked like a viable option.. I run gels with my Rudy Project glasses and have been lucky to not have hotspots even though they aren't flat.

    Thanks for the comprehensive review of all safety glasses Asian fit. Super helpful. Would like to focus on the Smith Optics Echo II. Do you use the Rx Insert kit with it, and how does it fit you?

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not all of the options available, just the ones I've tried but the intent was to get you to start thinking about these things.
      I did not use RX but if that is your only option then you'll have to experiment. I personally would recommend that you consult with an OD to see if you're a good fit for laser correction surgery. It makes a world of a difference in your life.

      @@bunnyoperator Well unfortunately my OD is not very well versed in safety glasses let alone ballistic protection. She got me an ArmouRx 6008, but it turned out doesn't fit my Asian face well. It works but keeps sliding off my face. So it's annoying, to say the least. I like your review of the Smith Echo... maybe this is the one I am looking for.

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tinkeringeekkissimmeefl4495 OK, note that the ARC model isn't the same as ECHO II. The ARC doesn't have the tinner ears to prevent temple pressure that the ECHO II does. Double check before spending the dough.

    What about the compact version? I'm trying to see witch one to get compact or Asian fit I'm Native American

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's really up to your facial structure. I found the compact to be wayyy too small creating temple pressure but that's because I have a "standard" Asian face shape.
      One of the quickest ways would be try Oakley Gascans. If they don't fit your face and properly sit on your nose then you're probably Asian fit.

  • @siuchungleung3378
    @siuchungleung3378 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just wondering if you have any experience with other ESS glasses? Would their non asian-fit suitable for Asian?

    • @bunnyoperator
      @bunnyoperator  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I do. For me they didn't work due to the issues I've noted and they are more than likely not going to work with other Asians but everyone is different so if you have the ability to try them, try them. As long as they provide proper coverage and fit properly, you should be fine. They shouldn't rest on your cheeks or stick past your nose bridge.
