  • Review of 2019 activities on the 16mm scale Blackwater Valley Railway. Video presents the history of the railway, construction techniques, live steam running and a short section on Computer Aided Design and 3D printing.
    Live steam features Roundhouse and Accucraft engines plus a large section on rebuilding a reconditioning 'Merrdin Emrhys', a Steamcraft double fairlie.

    Hello Graham. Good to see my old Faller cut n' shuts are still in service, 28'33". Sold in 2010 & resold 2013. Rob G.

      Hi Rob, they are ideal for running behind small loco’s. Mind you they are scheduled to go in the works for a slight rebuild and repaint this year.

    My Talgarth had the same problem as your Bertie. But my Talgarth would run perfectly with passenger stock but not with freight stock. It’s just a very picky engine.
