How do I get a written pattern. In the beginnig you P1, K1, P1* P1 repeat 2 more times then you change to K1, K1,K1, P1, to the end of the row. When does the first 3 stitch pattern change back to P1 K1 P1?

You have made a mistake at the start of row 2 it should be slip the edge stitch then knit one and not purl one.
then start the repeat pattern with purl one
