Would love to see you cover Shang Tsung from the Mortal Kombat series. Such a fun, charismatic, scheming villain that has been a mainstay of the saga since it’s beginning!
Reservoir Dogs is a phenomenal film. It’s my favorite Tarantino film. The writing, the performances, the direction, the music… everything is brought together beautifully and Tarantino made a masterpiece with his debut and has continued to make masterpieces throughout his career. Great analysis man, Happy New Year. Take care!
I like the change a lot! Sometimes I find myself getting lost when it’s just clips from the media you’re covering. This format gives it a more focused feeling.
Great video! Always wanted a video on the men of Reservoir Dogs! Also interesting change of style. Some villain suggestions I think would be great are: - Ralph Cifaretto (The Sopranos) - Micah Bell (Red Dead Redemption 2) - Dio Brando (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures) - Heat by Micheal Mann - Fargo by The Coen Brothers - Casino by Martin Scorsese
This takes me back to story time with Roald Dahl. Your relaxed posture, the toned down lighting to bring the fireplace more into focus, the leather armchair. You strike an impressive figure, and your voice completes the setting to a T. Please continue with this format, I don't think i can go back.
Fun fact: In the game adaptation of the movie there are several possible endings depending on how you play. If you complete game without killing civilians and earn the Professional rank your character will die if I remember correctly, but Mr Pink does escape with the Diamonds. The second ending is Career Criminal, and will show a scene of Mr Pink getting arrested. If you get the psychopath rank however by just going on a killing spree, Mr Pink will be shot by the SWAT team at the end which is the bad ending. Edit: He actually drops the Diamonds if he escapes but hides from the cops and while they run inside he steals a police car and escapes, but without the Diamonds.
It's entirely possible that Mr. Blonde became warped in prison and his reaction to someone triggering the alarm during the robbery made him panic because the thought of going back to prison after he had just been released terrified him.
@@dudebro91-fn7rz Old habits die hard, especially when being an ex-con doesn't help job prospects and your old guys from before prison are now offering you work.
that does not fit the narrative whatsoever..Mr.Blonde is a cold, calculated psychopath. Prison is like a home away from home for him and the only type of people to get that bent out of shape and scared to go back are non violent, upstanding, good ole boy types that are scared of prison. Mr.Blonde is not the type to all of the sudden panic because he thinks hes going to get arrested...he kills because he likes it
I prefer seeing you in the end of the video, the intros with "Hello everyone" put onto a scene of the characters is one of the most ingenious ways to start videos in the past few years. Love the beard, too :)

I definitely prefer the old format. It was the perfect blend having the clips for the visuals, and your amazing narration for the audio. Would recommend making a poll if you're considering making this the new standard. Amazing videos regardless Vile, Happy New Year!
It would be interesting to see a comparison of the Vega brothers. Victor was a cold blooded psychopath, while his brother was a more business like cold blooded killer. They were both killers, but Vincent seemed to have, an albeit broken, moral compass.
I always assumed Mr. Blonde was either a hitman or a "made man" before he joined the gang; either of which imply a history of violence. We see Blonde get assigned to the group by Joe because he was desperate for "real work" after having been released from prison. In fact, before Eddie suggests Blonde for the gang he says: "Dad, I got an idea. Now, I know how much you hate using *_one of the boys_* on these kinds of jobs, but Vic here has been a rabbit's foot for us." I used to think Blonde was a security guard at the "warehouse full of hot [stolen] items" that he was caught at, but he could've just been there through bad luck (or perhaps while procuring a stolen weapon to go knock someone off for Joe?). That's how I explain his sadism; he was a contract killer by trade, not a thief.
I can see these new changes being a good idea. Especially the choices of background music for each video. Perhaps even an outfit and a choice of drink to compliment that particular theme, when appropriate?
The analysis of one of my favorite Tarantino movies is absolutely fantastic! Great work and thank you! Also that's an epic beard your sporting well done.
I've been waiting so long for you to make this video. I love this movie so much. It's one of my all-time favorites. I recently introduced my college buddy to this, so this video could not have come at a better time. The characters in this are what I can only call "Identifiably Unidentifiable." You get to know these characters as people. You get to know their likes and dislikes, how they act, and above all, how they interact with each other. So you grow to like them, which makes you conflicted when they commit crimes. True some characters are better than others, but neither is a full-on good guy. Mr. White wouldn't go on a killing spree like Mr. Blonde, but he would still shoot somebody if push came to shove. Mr. Pink was probably the most tactful of any of them, but he still does some bad stuff. Even the rat, the cop among them, ends up shooting a civilian because they shot them. These are very complicated characters with only a little sense of morality if you're lucky.
8:00 Mr White did not murder the woman. She shot Orange and then Orange shot her. It's why he has a gut wound for most of the film. Don't know how you missed that. It changes the motivations of White since he even says he feels responsible for Orange getting shot as he's the leader. It's also why White believes that Orange is not a cop, as a cop wouldn't shoot a 'real person'. Oranges reason for shooting the woman is no better than Blondes: both were in the middle of a crime and when you get down to it, both were protecting themselves
That beard is majestic. I do like the videos, which are constantly excellent; but noticed that first. A lot of very good thoughts on criminality and the essence of a job. This video builds on former ones, but with a clear general philosophy feeling, not simply character study. Very much enjoyed it.
Another great video! I'm not sure if you read these comments, but I'd love to see an episode on Kirei Kotomine from the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. His character centers around his desire to commit heinous acts for pleasure despite once believing in morals and normality as a legitimate institution of society, and he finds himself wondering if him being born at all was a mistake. In his early life he attempted to live normally and even practiced Christianity and got married in the hopes of finding happiness, but even his wife's suicide only fills him with the anger that he couldn't do it himself. It's implied this is the last straw that made him realize he can never find pleasure in happiness. To justify this, he seeks to unleash a being that encapsulates all the evils of the world to prove that he himself deserved to live. His parallels with the main character adds even more depth to him, and he's easily one of my favorite villains ever. As a side note, the adaptations and prequels often complicate his character too much in my opinion. Look to the visual novel for the original and purest take on Kotomine. If you've read any of this at all, thank you!
There he is, the actual man himself! For feedback, I'm on board with these sorts of changes and will watch the content regardless. Like, when it comes to these sort of light stylistic changes. The content is still very Vile!
I like to show myself in a few clips throughout my videos as well. I feel like now a days it’s good to show the viewers there is a human behind the voice and not just A.I. Big fan of your content brotha, your narration and articulation is second to none. Can’t wait to see what you got cooking in 2024.
My mom introduced me to this move when I was 14, the same age she was when it came out. Tarantino’s movies are really in a category of their own for the quality of storytelling.
We actually do know what happened to Mr. Pink. It's quiet, so you have to turn up the volume a bit, but you can hear the cops yelling at him and shooting him. None of them survived the robbery.
I like the new format you have for your video! Good to see a face with the name, or should I saw a face with the Eye. 👁️ Was hoping to see the following covered one day: - Joe Cooper (Killer Joe) - Nino Brown (New Jack City) - Jake "The Muss" Heke (Once Were Warriors) - The Always Sunny in Philadelphia gang - more James Bond villains
I've listened to a lot of your videos and I honestly thought it was narrated by a good AI, given how nice and consistent your voice is. I really like the change and happy to finally see the face behind the channel.
Great video! Another great one would be the prison guards in the 1996 film Sleepers, and how they turned two of the four boys under their supervision into career criminals.
Love the series! The villain from The Third Man, Harry Lime would be great to analyze. As he is so multifacetted and poses a rare perspective friendship and love.
Awesome video! I came across one video last year, and have since watched them all! Great channel, I like the idea of you personally presenting an intro and outro and keeping the middle on footage of the characters! I think it cut back to you just a little too much! Also, I don’t think a plain black tee is vile enough, I’m not saying to go into crypt keeper territory, or a Rod Serling style suit, but something is missing… great backdrop, but maybe zoom out a bit and add candles, when I hear your voice, I imagine someone dark, mysterious and brooding, relaxing at the end of the day, but still focused on the evils of the modern world. I can imagine a wider view, with candles, and a darker set, lit by natural light, I don’t know what to change, but I like the new format, and will continue to watch!
I would keep yourself private. It makes it more cool. Keeps it mysterious. You can still cut that part out. I'm not kidding. Don't let people know how you look. Keep them guessing
I love the detail that, if you listen closely, you can hear Mr. Pink being also arrested in the end. Despite being the smartest member of the gang and the only one to survive, karma still b*tch-slapped him
In the same vein of career criminals, I would love to hear you analyze Walker from “Point Blank” / Porter from “Payback”. Two unique takes on the Parker character from Donald Westlake’s masterful crime series.
I love the fireside chat type thing you are doing and I think adding yourself into the videos is a great improvement to them. Thanks for all the great videos
I just discovered this channel and it's cool to see the person behind the voice. It must've been even cooler for longtime subscribers. Having someone to break down stuff I missed in movies/shows about Very Bad People is really neat. It gave me a different perspective on some people who weren't evil, but whom I've come to realize had bad intentions, and I feel less bad being suckered by them.
Would you consider doing a video on Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast"? I think your balanced analysis would be intriguing and the compare/contrast between the animated and live action versions would add some additional facets.
A suggestion: Analyzing Evil - Park Yeon-jin from The Glory P.S. I'm all for you appearing on-screen more. It gives the videos a sort of "lecture from your favorite teacher" vibe.
I like this creator's style. He has a zen sounding voice and is a great story teller. My guess would be appearing on camera is better and will help grow his brand further.
I don't think Mr. Pink got away, at the end of the movie when he tries to leave with the stolen goods, you can hear the police outside arresting him. (Great video as always)
Great channel! Zero issue with the reveal. The set is cozy. The only thing missing is a gimmick. Ollie Davis. Dr. Wolfula, Ryan Aries. Keep up the good work 🖖
Once Mr. Pink leaves the reservoir with the diamonds you need to listen carefully. He gets shot outside by the cops that were waiting for the ring leader.
One of my favorite movies. Thank you for that. As for the new style; I like it. Espically for a movie that takes such thought. An opinion of corse. If you chose to continue this sryle, I think it works and it is your channel. Either way the voice change options or in person along side the footage. I will be back for more. The content. I thank you for that.
I have to agree with people talking about the immersion aspect. Other episodes it is as if there is an omniscient narrator. I think it might be interesting to use this format for a different kind of video. You do great work and I appreciate the free entertainment. I may prefer faceless channels but i could adjust.
I like that you showed us who you are. It deepens the connection between viewers and creators. This was a great movie to analyze as well. As a suggestion hav r you looked at the three protagonists from Grand Theft Auto V? Franklin, Trevor and Michael would be great subjects for your analysis.
Loving the change as usual buddy, I think this is another feature that will introduce more sincerity and proof of your commitment to the channel. I am eagerly looking forward to the channel's future.

Good change. It's nice seeing the face behind the voice. Also excellent backdrop. Well done, and thank you for the videos. Always engaging and enjoyable.
Would love to see you cover Shang Tsung from the Mortal Kombat series. Such a fun, charismatic, scheming villain that has been a mainstay of the saga since it’s beginning!
I 2nd this!!!
Take care!
His later films weren't bad, if a little indulgent. But I agree, R Dogs is definitely his best film by far.
Take a shot every time he says the word "criminal" I dare you
Start at 5:13 I dare you. You’re dead of alcohol poisoning by the 6th minute 😂
Well that's what they are. You could also say bandits or outlaws
Better hope Mr Blonde never reads this, he’s probably run out of bodies

I like the change. Especially with the fireplace in the background. Really puts in a nice storytelling element.
I like the change a lot! Sometimes I find myself getting lost when it’s just clips from the media you’re covering. This format gives it a more focused feeling.
Great video! Always wanted a video on the men of Reservoir Dogs! Also interesting change of style.
Some villain suggestions I think would be great are:
- Ralph Cifaretto (The Sopranos)
- Micah Bell (Red Dead Redemption 2)
- Dio Brando (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures)
- Heat by Micheal Mann
- Fargo by The Coen Brothers
- Casino by Martin Scorsese
I like the variety of picks in your comment, from anime and video games to Coen bros and Scorsese
@@spidaranubis Thanks! I really like how he is open to covering villains from all types of different genres.
That opening was amazing vile! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This for sure!! Love him sitting by the fire
It's entirely possible that Mr. Blonde became warped in prison and his reaction to someone triggering the alarm during the robbery made him panic because the thought of going back to prison after he had just been released terrified him.
Obviously he wasn't that terrified or he wouldn't be robbing banks in the first place
8:04 Wait, it was Mr. Orange that killed the woman to steal her car in response to getting shot, which is why he deeply regretted it.
I've been waiting so long to see what you look like and I thought you'd be older with gray hair but wow I'm just surprised as always when I finally see the face behind the voice if my favorite TH-camrs! I am happy to finally see u who u are though, nice to have a face to go with one of my favorite TH-camrs, keep up the good work man!
0:02 THERE HE IS!!!
Skwisgar: Yup. That's definitely a troll.
I definitely prefer the old format. It was the perfect blend having the clips for the visuals, and your amazing narration for the audio. Would recommend making a poll if you're considering making this the new standard. Amazing videos regardless Vile, Happy New Year!
Happy new year vile! LOVE the new opening! Keep going!😊😊😊😊
It would be interesting to see a comparison of the Vega brothers. Victor was a cold blooded psychopath, while his brother was a more business like cold blooded killer. They were both killers, but Vincent seemed to have, an albeit broken, moral compass.
Both were also way too stupid to be career criminals.
That's how I explain his sadism; he was a contract killer by trade, not a thief.
i’ve wanted to see this one done forever. this is right up there with pulp fiction, kill bill, and django as my favorites from tarantino
From Sauron to Tarantino I love the juxtaposition. Thank you 💯❤️😈🤖🫡
Another great video! If you've read any of this at all, thank you!
old style is definitely where it's at
Love the new format Papa Vile, have never seen this film but its my roommates favorite so ill have to check it out
So...... that's what you look like? I respect it, keep up the great work.
There he is, the actual man himself! For feedback, I'm on board with these sorts of changes and will watch the content regardless. Like, when it comes to these sort of light stylistic changes. The content is still very Vile!
AMAZING VIDEO Vile Eye!!!!!! Can you please make a video about Mason Verger next, he's the best villain in literature in my opinion.
I like to show myself in a few clips throughout my videos as well. I feel like now a days it’s good to show the viewers there is a human behind the voice and not just A.I. Big fan of your content brotha, your narration and articulation is second to none. Can’t wait to see what you got cooking in 2024.
Who would have thought that Walter White was narrating these videos all along.
This is the best😂
Rewatched Reservoir dogs recently. Still one of Tarantino’s best
You should definitely do this more for your future videos. Adds a type of extra layer to examining the character(s) in the subject.
I love having you present I’ve been watching for a little while now I want to say since like episode 30 and honestly it’s an amazing change of pace
I like the new format you have for your video! Good to see a face with the name, or should I saw a face with the Eye. 👁️
Was hoping to see the following covered one day:
- Joe Cooper (Killer Joe)
- Nino Brown (New Jack City)
- Jake "The Muss" Heke (Once Were Warriors)
- The Always Sunny in Philadelphia gang
- more James Bond villains
I hear Jake Heke, and I am instantly filled with hatred, good call!
Mr Tarantino makes very good movies and always delivers with fantastic soundtracks ❤️
What’s funny is, you have the perfect look for a guy who talks about evil a lot. You should complete it with a Dracula or Devil costume.
What no way face reveal with a great movie
He did a face reveal during the tier list live stream before this, but yeah it's cool to see him in video!
Great video. Can you do The Good Son and The Bad Seed? I would love to see you analyze evil children.
Reservoir Dogs is one of my favorite films ever, it's good to see The Vile Eye in person and reveal yourself
Same here!! Love it and it’s my second favorite Tarantino film!!
Reminds me of when Soap’s face finally gets revealed in the 2009 Modern warfare 2 campaign ❤
@@nathanslay6342me too my Top 2 favorite Tino films are 1:The Hateful Eight / 2: Reservoir Dogs ❤

A suggestion:
Analyzing Evil - Park Yeon-jin from The Glory
P.S. I'm all for you appearing on-screen more. It gives the videos a sort of "lecture from your favorite teacher" vibe.
Mr Pink is clearly the worst based on his tipping
Tomar's good twin. Never would've guessed. Video format is excellent. Seems more personal.
Love the experimentation! Its great to see you my man! I've been a fan for years!
I think (it’s been a while) that you hear the police shooting Mr. Pink outside at the end. Either way, he definitely doesn’t get away.
Great channel! Zero issue with the reveal. The set is cozy. The only thing missing is a gimmick. Ollie Davis. Dr. Wolfula, Ryan Aries. Keep up the good work
🖖
Once Mr. Pink leaves the reservoir with the diamonds you need to listen carefully. He gets shot outside by the cops that were waiting for the ring leader.
It's nice to put a face to a voice. I've watched every video on this channel. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Vile Eye these are my favorite videos. Always makes me think more about the characters.
I have to agree with people talking about the immersion aspect. Other episodes it is as if there is an omniscient narrator. I think it might be interesting to use this format for a different kind of video. You do great work and I appreciate the free entertainment. I may prefer faceless channels but i could adjust.
A brilliant summary as usual. I like this new format. It feels more engaging.
I like that you showed us who you are. It deepens the connection between viewers and creators. This was a great movie to analyze as well.
As a suggestion hav r you looked at the three protagonists from Grand Theft Auto V? Franklin, Trevor and Michael would be great subjects for your analysis.
One of the best Tarantino movies, truly perfect
Nice to put a face to the voice! A like from me 👍🏼 merry Christmas and an ‘vile’ new year 😊
1:50 it is ok and there’s nothing wrong with it
I love the new style just got to say wouldn’t mind to see more of you
Love this format, Vile Eye. Very classy and adds variety to the channel. Great analysis, cheers.
Wear a propeller hat and never acknowledge it
I prefer your old videos that doesn't show your face. That also had intense background music that rewarded the serious tone
I agree. I also like how he matched the "Hello everyone" with the subject of the video speaking (mostly)
Loving the change as usual buddy, I think this is another feature that will introduce more sincerity and proof of your commitment to the channel. I am eagerly looking forward to the channel's future.
I, for one, like having you in the video for whatever capacity you feel like!
I like that the giy hosting the channel looks like he belongs in Breaking Bad but talks like a history teacher. I like this new format, you should keep doing it
