Hi, Thanks for this, fab and informative. I would've appreciated a heads up on removing the beep at the end of the wash, took me ages to get it to function. It's not my favourite Bosch, I found another model more responsive to my needs than this but then I hadn't realised some functions, that with your help now I hope to be able to finesse my washes. Very good of you to be so thorough, thanks
thanks, interesting,, then your comment makes complete sense !. (I must admit - as a mech engineer with a background in rotating systems & bearings, I'd assumed they MIGHT be different. Gotta wonder why Bosch even bother to "offer" a 7kg model then.. Ah well. (PS my only knowledge of Bosch washers is the machine we had from 2003 to 2017, bought at a big discount as end of the line, very high speed spin etc yet zero vibration etc regardless of unballanced wahsload etc, a real dream to own, and so reliable. Which I guessed was due to the design/build quality compared to other admitteldy cheaper brands. However, my significant research now while looking for another similar machine, based on what I've read abt more recent Bosch machines suffering early failures etc, their overall design and build quality and hence reliability seems to have dipped quite badly over those 20 years - like many things sadly, perhaps they are like BMW cars and now make far more machines aimed at far more markets especially the "budget" one, so the overall quality has dipped ?. Thanks again sir !@@LaundryGuy1500
The only problem I have is the warranty period is very short in general it is usually 1 or 2 years, it's hard to justify buying a Bosch when you can get something like an LG with 5 years warranty. This was a major factor in our purchase. Also I wish Bosch put more effort in the physical appearance of the machine, it looks quite basic compared to other models
The manufactures warranty and your consumer rights with the retailer you purchased the products with are different things, covering the same issue of breakdown and failure the latter lasting longer that 2 years. Never be fobbed off with manufacturer warranty over your rights as a consumer.
It is because you have accidently enabled the child lock. If you press the "Spin speed" and "Finish in" buttons at the same time, this should get rid of the child lock and you should be able to use the machine again.
I was wondering. I know you always say the size of the washer or dryer, example 7kg, I was hoping you would start saying the cubic feet of the washer/dryers as well. Even in canada, we’re metric, but everything is sold advertising cubic feet. You do the same for measuring, centimetres/inches. It would be neat to know. Thanks
On this model, the temperatures are fixed with the program you are selecting. For the price difference, i would try and upgrade to one of the Bosch WAN.... models as they are much better with a range of temperatures and pick the right model and you will get a 5 year warranty too.
I bought this washing machine and struggle to find program for dry fit sport t-shirts that should be washed max on 30degrees. Its a shame you cannot use mixed program but set the temperature down. Please let me know if you have an idea. These t-shirts are polyester. Many thanks M.
The speed perfect will reduce the wash time by more than half. You can only put a reduced load in the machine though, and the washing performance wont be as good as a longer wash would clean the clothes.
Nailed those model numbers like a skillful rapper!
I never had a problem with long wash durations, i notice the quality of the wash is much better, we usually have it set up to was at night.
I’ve got a Bosch washing machine. I’m delighted with it. The mixed load is great for most loads in either an hr or 45 mins. Thanks for a great video
Glad you like your machine, thanks for the great feedback

The thing is with these the 7 and 8kg use the exact same drum, so don’t bother paying more for an 8kg model
but are they the exact same bearings too, please ?

Thank you? Very usefull to know.

Good Information
There doesn't appear to be a drain hose at the front.
Not all of the Bosch machines have the drain hose, just the filter that you open to see if there is anything trapped inside
Why make another series 2 though when they already had a identical one reallllly wasn't any need
Can I please ask why a key lock keeps flashing and washing machine is not starting? Thank you

Good suggestion, thanks 👍
How do you change the temperature of a programme? The manual doesn't explain and nor do you. What am I missing?

At END of washing cycle ..approx when can machine door be opened?
Approximately 2 minutes later once the child lock is disabled from it
no quick wash seals it as a no for me and as another commenter says, the short warranty doesn't give me confidence

Use Easy care 30° with the speed perfect button pressed.
Or use jeans / Dark Wash 30° and they’ll be washed suitably well 👍
Too many very long programs
What does the speed perfect button do? Will that reduce the wash times?
