In this video I recorded and edited, I showcase the death of each member of the 3rd Street Saints. Keep in mind I included non-canon deaths. Also, characters who only had ties with the Saints such as Aisha were not included in the video.

Carlos was one of the most impactful death. He was just some kid who helped you get out of prison and from the moment he met you all he wanted to do was be a Saint. Died in easily the most brutal way in the series, but he made it, he's one of our favorite Saints.
The fact that Carlos didn’t die instantly and you technically had to put him out of his misery still haunts me till this day and I’m 27 😓

Carlos was the most impactful death in my opinion because he was just starting off working for you but I didn’t feel that way it felt like you where teaching him the ropes and when he dies I felt like it’s a little bit of my fault.I wish they went back on making more serious stories like sr2 and sr1.

@@alekso8254 I believe the reason he killed him is not necessarily because of the thick chain. Carlos was dragged and damaged to the point that he was no longer able to serve the saints. You could say "We could have took him to the hospital." But by the time he would have arrived to the hospital, he would have lost too much blood. Carlos went out with dignity and will forever be in our hearts. It was for his own good being shot by the player. It's better we shot him than the enemy.

The most satisfying death in saint's row history is Shogo's fate .
Maybe, but Jessica's was most satisfying. Her having Carlos dragged to near death made what happened to her very appropriate.

Shogo and Carlos deaths are so brutal being dragged threw the streets by a truck or burried alive both are horrible ways to die

It's interesting. The Boss is without and question a sociopath... but the love and care they have for their crew is deep.

They were both knocked unconscious and were drowning. I doubt the Boss had the strength to get her out.
Especially if you look at every other game where he does everything he can to help his friends.
It wasn't the playa who left Lin to die, Lin effectively killed herself by being too impatient and screwing up the Rollerz' plans too soon

Seriously tho, we are the bad guys here because in SR2 we become what we fighting against in the first game.
I mean Julius start pushin drugs etc etc when he was a boss. So Saints are like that because of him mostly.
At least better if we rule a city then them.
Except the Saints were already dealing drugs in the first game. I just replayed it a few weeks ago and at the beginning of an LC Stronghold Julius orders you to kill everyone at a drug lab and destroy it so the Saints can control more of the drug trade.
And if you look at it a certain way.....The Saints were created to take out the other gangs in the city.....by SR3 they had done that. Pretty sure the city is better off with one giant gang in charge who became like celebrities instead of several gangs that step on toes and war against each other.

Looking at the first game you can basically predict the story of the first three. The Vice Kings was a gang that wanted to clean up the streets. By the time you see them they became what they were fighting against up until Vice King was sick of it and started to focus on music and other prospects.
By Saints Row the Third, the Saints became everything they fought against, up until they lost sight of that fighting spirit. Ending in them being nothing more but music and movies stars clinging onto their former life.
Carlos’ death was by far the worst. You literally had to follow them around while you heard him scream, then you had to put him out of his misery.

He's nothing but a lying ass, backstabbing hypocrite, Julius had all the reasons not to go up against Benjamin King who became a millionaire throughout his gang, could've also made an alliance due to their history together, and go up against Los Carnales together while the Rollerz are just sitting back looking pretty with their cars, Julius could've told his gang no drugs, that was the whole reason why Julius and King started the Vice Kings together only for him to leave the Vice Kings because Julius doesn't like the way King operates, Julius deserved everything what was coming to him
There's a news clip in Kinzie's warehouse that says "Lin Lives, still killing people" and the subheader says "deceased saint seen roaming streets"
Pierce takes it off the wall and quickly hides it from the boss before stating that there's no bed and driving attention away from that newspaper clip.
It might be that she survived, or it might just be a reference to her zombie version of a homie. I want to think it's the former considering how suspicious pierce was behaving in that moment.

Bruh that moment when you remember that in saints row 2 you were an absolute psychopath. I feel like 3 should have been a struggle between being a monster or leading the saints into a better light. Dropping the playas more monstrous aspects was a stupid move.

Well listen to his dying sounds, clinching to life barely by a thread...
But the ending of SR3 was truly poetic - You either choose the SR2-style ending with killing Killbane or the ending of new reborn Saints that aren`t after killing and gangstering - the ending where everyone can spend time together and the Boss did what true leader does which is saving his people because without them he wouldn`t reach the point where he`s at.
I like that Saints can die. It shows that just because the moment you join the Saints and don the purple doesn't mean you have plot armor. This also happens when they mess up and that this is a very dangerous game. Lin messed up? Died. Carlos messed up? Died.

What happened to Carlos was so fucked. After that i stopped screwing around and wiped out The Brotherhood.
Retribution, then went back to just screwing around in free roam mode
SR2 was the pinnacle of the series. The world felt alive in a way and was fleshed out which the latter games lacked.
I wish that Oleg was also captured by zinyak so we had him in SR4 plus it would be fun seeing what simulation zinyak would have put him in

Carlos' death was so fucking weird compared to the other characters that has been killed off, like its such a brutal and hardcore cutscene.
Lin's death certainly hits home for me. I always thought her and the player had a thing for eachother cause of how subtle flirtatious she was with them

It's hilarious how after getting shot, Julius still talked perfectly fine.
Even though shaundi was optional to let her die but Carlos and Len would be awesome to be kept alive instead of killed off early while gat was written and brought back for fans
Fun fact the reason they added option's to certain things in sr3 is because of Carlos death

Because gat is gat. Lin and carlos were just an excuse for the boss to keep being a violent psycopath, couldve saved lin and carlos or at least tried to take them to a hospital but gat, thats the boss true friend, he didnt leave gat to die when the ronin attacked him cause gat is useful

I know Aisha isnt technically a Saint but her death hit me pretty hard because I love her and Gat plus her character is just easily lovable. Lin is another that I was like wtf why couldnt she get out with me 😔. Carlos is also one thats memorable but not like Lin and Aisha since I played way more SR1 than 2

The Killbane ending is the non canon ending to SR3 but seeing what the reboot is I wish it was more of a SR2 game or even remastered 1 & 2

I have a feeling the games were supposed to follow a certain pattern before the spinoffs came.Lin was the only Saint to die in the first game,Carlos and Aisha in the second.The Third added newer Saints and its rumored that three were supposed to dieoff before Gat's voiceover talent was pulled away because he was one of the main stars of a TV show that was filming & airing during the Third being worked on.The fourth game would have spelled the end of the Saints with no standalone game for Gat and just went straight to the AOM spinoff before the reboot....somehow those next steps needed to be made sense of so Gat returning for the fourth and final chapter for the original Saints.We were told everything through the multiple choice endings in Gat Out Of Hell which is in my opinion the coolest Easter Egg that isn't technically an Easter Egg

Sure... but I don't think The Boss can save Carlos.
Cause:
1.) Carlos wouldn't make it to the hospital, with his injures and no way to carefully take him there. little to no chances of surviving.
2.)The Boss is a gang leader. I'm pretty sure badges and more Brotherhood gang members will be swarming them soon enough.

Carlos' death is honestly one of the worst death scenes for me. It's an impactful scene and everything, it would be great, other then the fact that you can see the tow hitch where all the Boss had to do to save Dex was just lift up the tow hitch and pull the chain out and bring him to a hospital. I try to ignore it and accept the cutscene for what it is but it's near impossible to avoid it.
Professional brought up a very good point about Julius.
King was a better man then he ever was. Julius was the one who started pushing drugs, he’s the one who chose to work with the Colombians, he’s the one who betrayed his own crew instead of getting them under control.
Everything that happens in SR 1 and 2 is Julius’s fault. Yet at the very end, *he’s* the one who acts like he’s faultless.
He’s a hypocrite, who never looked out for anyone but himself, yet he acted like he was the one trying to fix everything.
Would u import to mk Johnny gat or saint row member. You get early access to fighting mechanic and showcase of outfit build on your custom character

Shaundi's didn't really died though, that the alternative ending. (Confirmed by the scenarist, the real one is when we let Killbane take the plane, showing that the boss is not so much a sociopath since is still can choose another thing more important than vengeance lol)

When my character shot carlos to give him a quick death, my character had the 'killa' tattoo on his wrist. That was in some ways a perfect scene.. almost like karma

Volition killed off all the wrong characters. Carlos' death was the saddest but I wouldn't have minded him staying dead from a story perspective, but Lin? They didn't even have to do her like that, she was a bad bitch and I liked her personality. Then they kill off Gat... who's the genius that thought that was a good idea? It's so stupid.
They stopped caring about the story after they killed off Gat.

Always fit the tone for this series that the boss wouldn't even bother to try call an ambulance for Carlos, and instead just puts him down like a lame horse.
