Our other trains are also running at same maximum speed. Main thing is about improving average speed which does not need new technology in trains what we need is greater number of railway lines. Due to single and double lines our railway traffic is very very busy.

I tested the speed of super fast express....it was doing 130 km / hr easily. The main difference is the number of halts and the crossings. Vande Bharath has very less stops and it won't wait for other trains to cross. It offers more comfort.

@@harshmodi2193 Because bhopal Delhi section has good track maintenance Shatabdi /Gatimaan also run there at 160km/hr.Even Express train AP/Telangana/Swarnjayanti/Mangla/kerela runs there at 120- 130 km/hr very easily.
I travelled on a UK train a few years ago and it nearly reached 120 kmph before their signals failed and came to a stop
