Best music ever! The Planets never gets old.
This orchestra is an order of magnitude more wonderful
I watch this occasionally to sharpen my senses, emotions and rationals.
One of the best. Perfect performance for perfect (percusion, bras and strings) orchestrasion.👌
This universal masterpiece brings up a dream for universe, and washes away the secular dirt
No performance is as intriguing and captivating and inspirational as this wonderful performance

What a performance! I felt fear, peace, wisdom, joy, magic, mystery! Congratulations to conductor and orchestra, this is right up there with the best! I wish I had been there!!
Klasse, ich muss Euch ein riesiges Lob aussprechen. Diese Interpretation ist wirklich hervorragend.
This masterpiece of epic proportion seems to swallow all of man's sorrows and joys , ugliness and beauty, horror and tenderness, arrogance and piety, strife and reconciliation

I am listening and watching this tonight as I look out my window at the June 2022 "strawberry super full moon". What a perfect combination.
Revolutionary and cutting-edge at the time. Still a great listen. Heel goed gespeeld.
Mars was a bit too uptempo imho, but everything else shined, especially Jupiter. Some orchestras treat it with just a bit too much majesty and forget that it's supposed to be JOLLY! It's supposed to be drunk! Bravo!
This is amazing i love how everyone is in sync with the conductor
Well done Sinfonia Rotterdam. A thought for Pluto, not yet discovered at the time of the composition and since deprived of its status as a planet ;).
Wonderful performance!
Yeah, Euphonium (Tenor Tuba) written in Treble Clef.
fantastic performance good job everyone
The Tuba player made this concert for me - determined and focused, never took his eye off the music or the conductor for the whole show. And a great sound too.
fantastic
Great tuning and balance...
Wonderful performance. Bravo!
Amazing how some of the musicians have no sheet music in front of them and they still play it perfectly.
Of course they have music in front of them- but sometimes we just can't see the music stands from certain camera angles. Orchestral musicians don't play concerts from memory.
Best trumpeter Bruno Pinto representing Portugal. 💪🏻🎺
Is this an international competition? I thought he was playing as a member of the orchestra.
@@karldelavigne8134 thank you , I also found that comment unnecessary
must've come across a dozen sped up versions by various symphonies. likely all pulled from one record or another
Please, where are the singers? I can hear them. Also at the end when the conductor is counting but there is no music, is it written that way? Thank you for sharing this performance.
Dear Bil, this is exactly how it is written :-) The choir sings off stage and gets softer and softer at the end until its inaudible.
@@SinfoniaRotterdam of course, thank you for the prompt response.
LAJ? This is the one. Listen!
Mars played when the Germans bombed Rotterdam
ironic
