Always great instruction style and taste. Building up my U2 chops. Brings back great memories. You always do a beautiful job and I always love looking at your guitar collection. You have some great classics.
You have a way of triggering flashbacks from years gone by JJ. I bought this cassette when I was a 21 YO Jarhead going through scout sniper school in NC. The day it was released I made my way to the J-Ville NC mall to buy The Joshua Tree. I had duty all night and we were tasked with writing our first operation order. I flipped that cassette all night. I was floored. I don't remember how I did on that particular OP order, but I will never forget the feeling of hearing those licks you just played for the first time. I miss the 80's.... Or maybe I just miss being young... Both. What were we talking about.... LOL Happy Thanksgiving!
The best cover version I heard. Congratulations!!. Please.. could you tell us what Pedals/effects did you use?. Delay + Reverb maybe?. Thank you in advance.
Great work as always! JJ, if you happen to see this & have a sec to reply, did you get a c rite hit for this? Thanks for all the great covers & lessons-glad you left up the vids from your previous channel & consult them often.
One of my faves, along with red hill mining town
Jeff B Totally agree, those two songs are awesome! Joshua Tree is such a great lp, and I’m not even much of a U2 fan
Red Hill Mining town is the best, with this a close second
back 4 years later to fav this comment again 🙂
One of my favorite U2 songs, ever. Many thanks! Wow, do I miss this time period... in music and everything else.

I love that "C" on the eighth fret!
A beautiful and powerful song, just want to give you one more thumbs up for this one!
Good choice of tune. When U2 was actually still about the music. Thanks JJ Great video once again.

This and Wire from Unforgettable Fire some of Dave's best playing
The song was a tribute to a beloved friend who was killed in a motorcycle accident and Chilean activist. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Tree_Hill_(song)
