The edge's contribution to the typical U2 sound is huge. I always admired the edge's playing and that his guitar playing creates a certain universal atmosphere and here you demonstrate that the U2 songs are all immediately recognizable just by the edge's guitar riffs. Absolutely awesome to hear the edge's riffs played perfectly. I couldn't tell a difference to the original.

All the Edge's backing tracks are music by themselves. A young man used to busk in Grafton St., in Dublin years ago and just play these. You could listen to them all day. Your playing of them is perfect

Probably the best The Edge cover on TH-cam! However, either my eardrums are shot to pieces, or I'm not hearing any modulation in your delay's repeats, which is a crucial thing to the perfect Edge sound.

Great to see people be able to copy and mimic nearly perfectly what Edge pioneered out of nothing. I do thing it is great but easy. But, how incredible is the pioneer when there were NO sounds like this in all history and he pioneered them completely?! Edge is one of the greatest and most underrated guitarists of all time.

There are places where I can see Edge plays faster, but great effort. +1 for sure. "Bullet the blue sky - Zoo TV Sydney 1993" should have been in there. For 2:30 The Edge shredded Hendrix-style. Bar none, one of the best solos by Edge ever. Lots of others like 'Love is blindness (Zoo TV Sydney)' or 'Acrobat' or 'Hold me thrill me" etc.

All the Edge's backing tracks are music by themselves. A young man used to busk in Grafton St., in Dublin years ago and just play these. You could listen to them all day. Your playing of them is perfect

Probably the best The Edge cover on TH-cam! However, either my eardrums are shot to pieces, or I'm not hearing any modulation in your delay's repeats, which is a crucial thing to the perfect Edge sound.

Great to see people be able to copy and mimic nearly perfectly what Edge pioneered out of nothing. I do thing it is great but easy. But, how incredible is the pioneer when there were NO sounds like this in all history and he pioneered them completely?! Edge is one of the greatest and most underrated guitarists of all time.
Hi Mark. You are absolutely right. The Edge is one of my favourite guitarist and absolute genius and pioneer. I don't think is underrated. You can hear pretty much his influence on guitar parts of thousands of songs. Plus countless articles and interviews about him and his sounds.

There are places where I can see Edge plays faster, but great effort. +1 for sure. "Bullet the blue sky - Zoo TV Sydney 1993" should have been in there. For 2:30 The Edge shredded Hendrix-style. Bar none, one of the best solos by Edge ever. Lots of others like 'Love is blindness (Zoo TV Sydney)' or 'Acrobat' or 'Hold me thrill me" etc.
