Crookshanks being the potters cat also makes sense because he doesnt like harry, and I've never met a 1 year old that could be around a cat without pulling its tail, or sticking their fingers in its mouth, or doing something to make the cat mad ALL THE TIME

I'd like to point out that even though J often wins these, Ben always performs very well. J has an extraordinary memory for this sort of thing, but Ben's memory is no slouch either.
They should start asking him questions like "in which chapter did Harry...?" Or like "on what page did Lupin transfer into a werewolf?" Funny enough in my german translation edition it was on page 394 in book 3.

My abusive father has been dead for 7 years and I've yet to cry for him. The first Christmas/Father's Day without him I was relieved I wasn't being/feeling forced to buy something for somebody like that. So I'm feeling the Carlin family is actually loving.

Sirius wasn't at Harry's bday cos he was working for the order, lily says "the order has to come first" but that if he could come over soon he should.
So Bathilda could come, cos they were lying low but not "hiding" like with the fidelius charm till two weeks before the 31st Oct

Why do the seem to stuggle with Bathilda Bagshot attending Harry's Birthday tea?
Did they forget how the Fidelius Charm works?
There is a secret keeper for a reason, only they can let people know the secret. They obviously let people in on the secret, they had visitors, Dumbledore for example and Sirius could have gone but didn't. Bathilda was obiviously told, its not like she could have spilled the beans on where they were.
Plus the reason Sirius didn’t go is because he was busy with the Order, not because he couldn’t because of the charm. It said it in Lilly’s letter that they understood because the Order had to come first.
Pretty much my thoughts afterall you can't transfigure food so someone had to deliver it and Bathilda would be less suspicious living in the village and not being known as a close friend like Sirius, Remus or Lupin.

I agree. However, then she should have known Pettigrew was the secret keeper, not Sirius. Maybe Sirius gave her a note with the location which was written by Pettigrew to preserve the bluff that he was the secret keeper?

I just love your quizzes. Did anyone else notice the menacing way that Peter looks first at James and then at Lily in that picture?? It gives me the creeps every time I see it. There is definitely, some foreshadowing going on there. Also, the way Dumbledore is looking at Peter. So many interesting things happening in that picture. Here's a question for you - When Peter turns into a rat his clothes are left behind, however earlier when he changed from a rat into a person again, he had on clothes. What gives??? I find it so cool how many times the two of you write down the same answer even when it's wrong.
crookshanks being the potter cat also really explains why crookshanks hates scabbers and its more than just a cat vs mouse/rat thing, cause im pretty sure they make a point in saying that its like that only with scabbers, no other pet
Crookshanks was part kneazle, so he found out scabbers wasn't a regular rat and that padfoot/snuffles wasn't a dog and probably learnt that scabbers was bad when snuffles communucated with him
