I've flown with Air Maroc five times and with the grace of God I never experienced not receiving my luggages. Anyone with any passport traveling to Liberia can leave the airport "IF" they apply for an EXIT VISA from their embassy in DC for $35. I know this for a fact because my sister who possess a Liberian passport with a green card and I who possess a U.S. passport traveled to Liberia together 2023-2024 with her exit visa left the airport and came to the hotel with me. When Royal Air Maroc first started going to Liberia the hotel accomodations were on point, but now the.accomodations are blah.
My dear I understand your plight. I lost my entire luggage with air moroc never got compensated even though i tried. One whole month in Liberia we were in the hotel on 10th street I went to look for my luggage each week never got it to this day, I end up having to buy underwear and outerwear . When it’s all said and done I stick with Brussel airline AWFUL EXPERIENCE WITH AIR MOROC.
Thank you for the information. I always travel with Royal Air Maroc, never had a long lay over. But, this time will be different, it will be 14 hrs wait until the next flight ✈️ to Liberia. Always, apprehensive about leaving the airport, due to my overall views of North African and their treatment towards Sub-Saharan African. However, listening to this recording have put me at ease and my expectations. Thanks a lot 🙏 for this information.
If you have other options, I would. Unfortunately, I have one more flight with them. And as a last resort, I may use them again but cautiously, like having my bags professionally wrapped.
Great reviews, just recently flew with Royal Air Marco, to and from Liberia. I expected the 15-hour layout in Morocco because my itinerary said it would be before i booked the flight. I was lucky with the two luggages I received both at RIA upon my arrival. The accommodation setup was kinda ridiculous. We waited at least 5 hours after arriving at the airport before we got to the hotel. But overall, the experience wasn't too bad. Like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. My return flight to the US was smooth. 4 hours layover and a smooth , safe flight back to DC. Lack of communication at the airport in Casablanca is the biggest issue I see with the company. They need to employ some Sub-Saharan African to communicate with their people.
Thanks Joy for the detail formation and welcome back. Sometimes when you hear cheap or discount tickets you don't realize the inconvenience. Is it worth it. I usually travel with Air Brussels by way of United from New Jersey. 3-4 lay over in Brussels is much better than the experience mentioned. Thanks again and Happy New Year to you and the family and God bless 🙌
One sad thing about us Liberians is how nicely we are to other cultures and races in our country but we get the opposite treatment everywhere. Liberians treat Chinese, Indians, and pretty much anyone with white skin like gods but get treated like crap in those people's countries.
Hi my dear, thanks so much for the tips, coming to Liberia very soon so this is very important information, did you get to Liberia at night ?was it safe to travel / drive at night time because this is my #3 big worry's especially coming with my kids, thinking about staying at the hotel near the airport because we will get to Liberia at night time .Thank you
Hi, thank you for watching. This time, I landed around 5am. I usually always fly Brussels and arrive at night. I have never physically felt unsafe and always go home after landing. The second part of this is that the RIA highway has had a lot of construction, which can make the road dangerous. In the beginning, there were a lot of accidents because the detours were not clearly marked. As long whoever is driving you is familiar with the roads, you should be okay. But there is Farmington Hotel very close to the airport, if needed.
Yeah I don’t f with air Maroc. Stop giving money to people that treat us like crap. I will pay the extra 400 and fly united out of DC direct to Accra then take either Kenya airways or ASKY.

I have heard those same things about Air Moroc. I go to Liberia twice per year. Never flying with anyone but Brussel and United.

Thank you for watching. I top was apprehensive, especially with a child, but I'm glad I went to the hotel. I needed the time to rest and refresh.
Thanks for the info. I was considering flying Air Maroc on my next visit to LIB in July. Maybe I should reconsider.

I'm glad it was smooth going back. I agree about them hiring Sub-Saharan Africans. As much as they take our money, we should be represented.
The bathroom looks nice.
Good information for me, I guess I will have to fly directly into Ghana from ATLANTA and fly to Monrovia.

We have to learn to respect and appreciate our own.
