Back in around 1984, I met Ernie Shavers as a young novice boxer with Minor A. C. in Youngstown, Ohio. I was 17 years old at the time. I put my fist up against his and it was twice the size of mine. His fist touching mine, you can feel the sense of his power just by touching his fist. He was so humble.

Earnie Shavers used to live in England ( Liverpool ) for a short time. He worked as a doorman and was a very gentle nice man. My friend was the DJ and introduced me to Earnie. The first thing I noticed was his gigantic hands .. I asked Earnie " so what's your secret to this punching power everybody tells me about " Earnie said " Boy you gotta chop alotta woood and use sledgehammers on tyres " Earnie explained that chopping wood trains the punching muscles and strenghens the hands and also teaches you how to use correct leverage. Earnie showed me how corkscrew my fist when throwing the right hand to really dig it into a man's face.... Earnie Shavers swore by chopping wood! I heard him say the same thing to many wanting to know... awesome specimen he was and a true gent

Abul Rahat I doubt that. Tyson Couldn’t Beat Buster Douglas, Douglas Who was a A Journeyman For most of his career And who lacked any kind of heart or determination managed To Upset Tyson. Tyson was at his peak in 1990 and still got beat!!! Douglas then went on to be Knocked Out in 3 Rounds By Evander The Real Deal Holyfield. Earnie Shavers could have probably stopped Iron Mike late on, Earnie had a great chin and I doub Iron Mike would have been able to Flatten Earnie Like He Did Trevor Berbick and like he did Micheal spinks. Spinks was a light heavyweight By The Way And he was very lucky Against Larry Holmes. Holmes was robbed! Nobody in the boxing world expected to spinks to beat Tyson. Nobody! That’s classed as iron mikes best win even tho Micheal spinks was a light heavyweight!!!!! It Says It all really. I think Shavers Would stand a chance of stopping Tyson! I think Shavers could have definitely stopped Tyson and it would probably have been late on in the fight.

Buster was actually very skilled and had the right physical artibrutes to make it big but he was never motivated other then the time he got to fight Mike. He showed up severly out off shape and overweight against Holyfield. It got him financially set for life and no matter what anyone says or the would be what if or should be he was the man who gave Iron Mike his first defeat. And those are facts

"Treat people like you would want to be treated"
The reality is that people treat others poorly because they actually HATE THEMSELVES.
ironically people do treat others as they treat/feel about themselves inside. The psychological reality Is its just not as you would expect.

Ron Lyle & Muhammad Ali both fought Earnie Shavers & George Foreman during that great 70's era. No question that Ali was the boxing genius of this group, while George Foreman and Ron Lyle were both monster punchers. You need only watch their head to head match-up and see them both put each other on the canvas to know that's true. But when it came to pure, raw, one punch knock-out power, Earnie Shavers was on a plain of his own. After fighting Shavers the bruising Ron Lyle remarked, "Earnie Shavers hits so hard you don't even feel it. It's like your whole body goes into shock when he connects with one of those big straight right hands" while Muhammad Ali, who often said in interviews after he retired that Shavers hit him harder than he was ever hit, was once quoted as saying, "Earnie Shavers hit me so hard it shook my kin folk in Africa."
