Your flying Tom well done. Looks like the front end Fairy turned up overnight as well 😂😂. Still waiting for my Evo design units to come, they have a massive lead time at the moment 😩
Nice! We’d thought about that but after having a low top in the white one we thought we needed more space. Hopefully we get them delivered soon... 👌🏻👊🏻
Great video and very useful, thanX! Quick question if u will: After u cut the windows holes out and after sanding, did u apply any rust protection and a rubber seal prior to fitting the windows?
@@tomtdubz Ohhh so it's not a necessity to have a rubber seal!? Hmmm.. If u apply the windows and then later down the line decide to apply carpeting, is it also possible to make it look nice and tidy? Thing is I am getting windows fitted professionally and have thought hard to do it myself but man, cutting a hole in to my van is a traumatising feeling for me coz what if I f#@k it up somehow 😬 But I plan to apply carpeting after windows and insulation is done.. not sure what's the right order to do things 🤔
Entirely up to you, if you have the windows fitted with the seals you can still carpet after, you’ll be able to gently push the carpet between the window and the seal. The seals are used but you don’t have to use them.. if you have any factory windows they don’t have them..
@@tomtdubz Oh nice. ThanX for the info BuDi. Love your channel and how u do everything yourself, very inspiring. Cannot wait to have the van up and running 😅

Yeah front end got painted... few bits to sort but taking shape. 10 weeks apparently... nightmare. Can’t get the bed in till the units arrive 🙈
@@tomtdubz yeah ordered mine mid Jan but got a few other things to do in the meantime so no rush 🤟
I’m nearly ready just finishing up the wiring, which kitchen you go for? We’ve gone for the 2.0 lwb...
@@tomtdubz I’ve decided to be a different and go for the SWB low side, so I won’t have a wardrobe like most. More worktop for the beer then 😂

@@motiv8154 thanks, 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
What glue do you use?
Sikaflex or tiger seal, most of the companies that sell the windows do the glue too 👌🏻
