Touratech's Herbert & Ramona Schwarz retrace steps from a motorcycle journey taken 30 years ago. They ride a 2010 BMW R1200RT through France, England and Scotland stopping along the way to soak up the history and sample the local traditions and culture. Read the full story in RoadRunner magazine.

Fantastic film and soundtrack! Scotland has some of the best roads in Europe.
i just got my first R1200RT man what a bike..i have owned many bikes...and this thing is like riding a new bike everytime..BMW has done a very good job...
I love watching this video it brings back so many memories. Oh how much I miss her, Scotland that that is.

Aye, it's a bonnie place and no doubt. I count myself as very lucky to live in Scotland......even with the rain. I found out a long time ago that I don't disolve in the rain, and neither does my motorbike. Nice bike...awesome country.

I have been riding a BMW R1150RT for the last 18 months and have put almost 20K on it throughout southern USA. I am looking forward to a three week tour of Great Britain on a rented 1200RT. Great video.
Great video not only did you capture my country so well but also the spirit of Scotland.Not to mention my home town Edinburgh plus the scaffolding company I worked for the Orange and Blue at the end J+I cool.Now living in Germany south of Munich yet another beautyfull land with so much culture.Oh and did you all know that Munich is the twin city of Edinburgh

that s some pretty country yall toured across and on a bmw 1200rt i ride a 97 honda vfr 750 f one of my co workers is fixing to buy the bmw 1200rt probley next year after he sells one of his bikes now keep up the good touring vids please

Ridden the 1200 GS and the R..in thirty years of riding all manner of bikes all over the UK & europe I didn't get the boxer at all. I will be Scotland bound on a Pan or new Trophy

It's Eilean Donan Castle at the beginning, next to the bridge at the Isle of Skye. It was also in the film Highlander. plus.google.com/101257637900285884621/about?gl=uk&hl=en
as you can see no continuous shots longer than half a minute on any given road. the rest of the time... it WAS raining ;)
