- After many months and a long period of very little rain my pond has finally reached the new max water level. So far its holding water with no major leaks. It's starting to look really nice for the first time in many years. June 2nd to December 2nd is how long it took for water to flow through the new pipes.

Few weeks ago we had a major downpour of hard rain. It held up just fine thank goodness! That was a good first test.

It is big. The dam is 300 foot long. The length of the pond is 430 foot and the back end is about 130 foot wide. Thanks for stopping in!!
I watched the pond breach video, then all the repair videos too. You did a great job of explaining what went wrong and the steps and challenges to fix it it. Well done. Wonderful to see you stick to it and see the job through to the end. Strong enough to last the test of time. I liked this last video showing the pond almost full again and the boat trip around. Looks great. Need to restock some fish of all sizes in there. Did you reinforce anywhere else other than the spillway and the breach section?
It’s actually still full of a lot of fish. No need to reinforce it anymore. It’s a really wide damn really. Much bigger than others I saw.
