Objectively chiming in... How relevent is Sky now anyway? Cable/PPV 'TV' is now one of many broadcast options, in fact I see the TV model slowly phase out to be replaced by all sorts of online options.

The thing with Sky is that a lot of boxing fans just want to watch boxing. They might not be bothered with the football, cricket, golf etc. Therefore they can’t justify £30 per month when they’ll only watch a 1/4 of the content at best (btw it’s the same with other sports fans who only want to watch football or cricket or F1). That’s why a Dazn subscription is so appealing. Because it’s low cost and it gives you what you want.
Sky need to change their model as so many more customer will go to illegal streaming services if not + they’ll potentially lose partnerships like Matchroom in the long term.
