All I’ve heard on any podcast covering the fight since it happened Saturday is, “AJ should have done this”. “AJ didn’t look right”. “AJ almost had him before the shot that finished the fight”. “Does AJ - Fury still happen”…
How about we have a podcast giving Dubois credit for his seek and destroy mission he put on AJ?! I think he doesn’t get the credit he deserves because he’s an introvert and not an extrovert. He doesn’t care for the publicity/Celebrity lifestyle. He just wants to be the best at what he does! He obliterated AJ. End of!
I was quite critical of Dubois the way he kind of ducked out of the Usyk fight (Not the Joyce fight. I wouldn’t want to be bashed about with a fractured orbital bone. So I wouldn’t expect another man to risk his eyesight for my entertainment!). But he’s been on a tear up since his loss to Usyk. He deserves his moment!!

Frank Warren confirmed in an interview that DD learned a lot from his Usyk fight. Quite honestly I think he had an ephiney and from that moment on he knew what he had to do to win and what he needed to do to improve his boxing. AJ on the other hand zones out when he’s under pressure. I think he suffers from brain fog or has an attention deficit disorder. Sometimes he can focus and sometimes he can’t. Something’s not right.

Come on now, Daniel Dubois has been boxing since the age of 9 - his fundamentals are way above AJ's, better footwork, better movement, quicker hands, better combinations, better ring IQ, better placement of power and a better chin. Dubois first ramrod jab in the face of AJ made him forget the basic fundamentals because of one simple factor - fear!!!! Johnny Nelson is simply embarrassed because he backed AJ for the fight - complete charlatan!

Sorry it sounds like Johnny Nelson is trying to minimise Dubois win here. AJ didn't gift him the fight. Dubois went in there and took the win for himself. AJ boxed poorly because DD made him box badly by jumping on him early and stopping him from getting into a rhythm.
Sorry Ben Davidson has a lot of answer for too he said there was nothing that DD did that surprised him so why did it seem to clearly surprise AJ? Didn't he prepare him for the potential onslaught that he could face if DD started fast?

The first thing I noticed in the first 10 secs was how low AJ was carrying his hands and went back to watch the opening secs against Usyk and it's very different. He wasn't being defensively responsible. Daniel probably would have won regardless, but if AJ had been less sloppy and keeping his hands so low it may not have been such a devastating beating.

People saw the real side of AJ that night , as Dillian Whyte said he's a fraud. Dubois v Joshua was a classic case of hype v reality. Joshua was a product of marketing clever match making and being a handsome guy that people liked.
The reality is he's gone into most of his matches a very heavy favourite simply because he's fighting guys that are not danger men. wallin/ hellanius/ franklyn/ ngannou - all picked to make joshua look good. but even against a mid fighter like franklyn he struggled, hellanius was a 40 year old on peds, wallin was out of shape and just picking up a payday and ngannou was a 37 year old with a busted knee and a boxing record of 1 fight 1 lose. not the preperation for Daniel Dubois, but Joshau hasn't got a chin for high level so he has to face easy guys or he gets ko'd before he gets near the top 10. at 35 he has not got many options, but I would not put him in the ring with Daniel Dubois again, otherwise Dubois ends it even faster.
Dubois has hard fights, he has been the underdog in his last 3 fights and ko'd them all, he's a battle hardened confident young man now. Duboi shas improved dramatcially over the past year, joshua hasn't - at 35 he's still making the same amaturish mistakes a prospect makes in his first fight. you can't be that bad at this level.

Is he for real?? AJ's problem is that he DOES believe in all the hype he and his associates talk about him!! It's all BS - he's only ever been put against people they surely expected him to win against, and when it doesn't happen they call it an 'upset'!
He's always been crap and the fact that he lacks even a shred of humility makes him the least likeable heavyweight around.

I called it in a video few days before the fight and give my reasons why Dubois wins.. people forget he's been boxing since he was 6 years old AJ started late and the problem with that is you don't learn enough before your peak years you don't experience enough of the opposition out there. Dubois is getting better all the time and when he's 30 he'll be unstoppable. Joshua is very limited and it show's in his naivity against front foot fighter's who throws shots from different angles. But saying that he did well to be heavyweight champion after 16 fight's but his peak was n over the hill Klitschko. He tried his hardest against Dubois but Dubois has been through the trenches in his last three fights and in previous fights so fighting memory takes over when your being attacked by someone who is trying to take your head off and you already know what you have to do..cover and counter cover and counter with your own big shots and power doubles when someone walks onto your punches so you just have to stiffen your punches and be accurate. Joshua can be a challenger again but he's gotta be honest with his ability in order work with what he's got.. the next guy to beat Dubois will be agile moves alot shows feints and knows how to be patient with a good jab and has strength in clinches.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating and what we saw was those decisions paying off for this much improved fighter. What was perceived as cowardice was actually INTELLIGENCE. To prove the masses wrong can only come from inner belief. Smart guy

So I finished listening to Mr Nelson on this interview… why did I previously say Jonny is talking crap? Simply because his analysis of AJ is not correct.
AJ simply thought he had Dubois in the bag and thought he would play with him until 3rd or 4th round before putting it on Dubois. However, Dubois had different plans.
When AJ got smashed on the chin in the first round… it all went south.
Dubois destroyed AJ’s plan and through desperation on AJ’s side, was finally knocked out in the 5th round.
Also, you make out like Dubois does not think in the ring… I say to you think again. Dubois was setting up traps for AJ, hence why AJ fell a few times in the fight. Go watch the fight again Jonny and correct your analysis.
AJ and team got beat, and beat up badly. AJ through complacency got clipped early, costing him his crown.
The Champ retained his belt… let’s not forget that… Dubois was the Champion, not AJ. But AJ with the fans, you included… disrespected DDD, making out he was the challenger.

It doesn't matter how great your training camp was, if your mind isn't right there's not a lot any trainer can do.

He asked for prayers because he knew what Spencer said about Dubois dad being a Voodoo man could be true . He probably felt a dark atmosphere around him . Bizarre performances by Joshua .

Passing of the guard is a little more like AJ vs Klitchko (albeit he was not a few years past it)
But it felt like a noble effort from Klitchko, that’s going out in your shield.
    AJ vs DDD wasn’t that.
He might have still lost but that was a terrible, vacant defensively poor performance. So bad you almost forget how good DDD was.

As much as I dislike fury the passing of the guard regarding klitschko was with Fury but i agree with everything else, he was shocking, soon as he gets clipped with power he loses his head and everything goes out the window.

He had shades of a white collar boxer. Dubois was superb though. Every time he made a minor mistake he was conscious of it and corrected himself instantly. AJ’s mistakes got worse as the fight went on.

Well that’s credit to DDD making AJ panic out of plan. I think AJ was just overwhelmed he not used to someone just as powerful coming at him

Of course the corner are still the ones telling the boxer what to do , how come when fury got beat all these same people blamed the corner and is dad for giving instructions, so of course they have to take some of the blame.

Can't believe AJ level of celebrity status...he mostly fought who he thought was his easiest project, I'm glad he got beat!...I want to see the one they've been hiding from us, Martin Bekole!!

This guy is a legend, but talking some foolery. AJ can’t do to Dubois as easy as what he did to Ngannou (you DUMBAZZ). Ngannou ain’t on Dubois’s level. Please stop the nonsense 🤦🏾‍♂️
