hey thanks for your video :)
i have a question for you.
In the extended/ supplement section of the igcse syllabus for the 4th unit 'stoichiometry', there is a line that says "construct equations with state symbols, including ionic equations". I was wondering... do i need to be able to identity/ construct complete ionic equations/ net ionic equations and have a thorough understanding of it? And do i need to be able to identify the states of matter of different elements? Because it is talking about state symbols here. And if i do need to know, do i use the solubility rules to help me out?
I know this is a long question but i'd really appreciate an answer :)

Ahhh this comment got filtered as spam and I've only just seem it - so sorry!
I haven't ever seen a question on net ionic equations but that definitely doesn't mean they don't exist. It's not in the syllabus explicitly but if you plan on taking Chem at at higher level this will be a skill you'll need anyway.
The solubility rules aren't in the syllabus either but you should know "common sense" state symbols eg Mg is a solid, CO2 is a gas etc. (plus the solid precipitates in testing for anions and cations!)

Thank you so much! Also, what about displacement reactions? I know that i need to know about the displacement of ammonia from its salts but what else do i need to know? Do i need to know the displacement of halogens bc i keep seeing that in a lot of revision sites. And what about single vs double displacement reactions.
also do i have to know about 2F and F and everything in lenses? My exam is tomorrow and i don't have the time to prepare anything unnecessary.
An answer would be much appreciated :)
