Thanks again for your endless hospitality and friendship. Though a rougher ride than we wanted, it was certainly worth the effort cause we had a wonderful weekend. I can't wait to see the next video of Browns Cay, it was certainly an amazing place. We find ourselves back home in NC reminiscing of what a special first crossing to Bimini it was, I recommend this trip to every one of your boat enthusiastic scribers out there, its now been checked off by bucket list and we're ready for the next venture from the Miami Living 305 play book.

The trip to Bimini was absolutely amazing. Even though the water was a bit choppy, I slept most of the way over. I highly recommend the bean bag chair for the boat! My ride was fabulous. Arriving in Bimini was the most gorgeous views. The water was absolutely the most gorgeous shade of blue. The beautiful home was so welcoming and absolutely done to the nines. We were fortunate to stay at Bimini Water Front Villas. The food, people, water activities, breathtaking views, private islands… I could go on and on. Bimini is a must see travel destination. I look forward to going again and will book the gorgeous Bimini Waterfront Villa. This was definitely a trip of a lifetime.

I have taken the cobia to Bimini but if I’m only going with a few people like my wife and kids I’ll take the SeaHunt which takes the chop great and I save on fuel (v8-v6) and marina which they charge by foot! I also did a a trip in the cobia in which I did not record at all I actually enjoyed that trip without the work. Now in this trip I wished I was in the cobia instead but did not think it was gonna be that bad

I grow up on the water with my Cuban grandparents that were big fishermen! Ever since I can remember I was sleeping in our boat every weekend fishing diving and my passion for the ocean was instilled since a young age. As I grew older and was able to afford a boat myself I decided to not only recreate it for my kids and family but to share with the world. I combined my knowledge of the ocean and my video editing skills to make this channel for people to not only enjoy but learn also so that they can do it themselves!

Nice video and the boat can take that fairly mild slop. The USA seems to love open bow designs, but I can't help thinking that a closed bow design offers far more seaworthiness offshore, especially down wind, should you stuff it. Any reason you are not wearing a life jacket? in UK it is required under maritime by all commercial seafarers in small boats.

    • @MiamiLiving305

I’m curious about the Cobia. As someone who has more than one boat I get it, but I have 2 different boats. A 20’ ski/fish and a 30’ express cruiser. Different boats for different jobs. Maybe I missed the video where you talk about it, but why buy a second 30ish foot center console? I know those boats aren’t cheap and the cobia seems to not get much use. Why not a cruiser as the second boat. As much as you cross to the Bahamas it would make sense to have a boat you could stay on. Either in a marina or out alone on the hook. Anyway, just curious. To each their own. Safe boating.

Cobia is for family trips as my family is quite big. In 2023 I never had the chance to do that big family trip I wanted to pull off but in 2024 I will! I want to start doing over nights on the cobia me and the wife which is one reason for the boat ! I also wanted a boat with more range which the cobia does for spots that are more far! This year a lot of my plans have not worked out and that’s why you have not seen the cobia as much. I have also gone out a few times in the cobia and not record it. Soon the cobia will get more use along with my ski! As you you get older time becomes the biggest problem you have.

two comments and a question -- who is doing aerial work and if it is your drone, what model is it? Comments now -- I was born and raised in Miami and Bimini was like our backyard when it was REALLY an island, but we were always told the captain goes to Immigration and the rest of the crew has to stay onboard. Has that changed? Also, don't know where you are from so I won't shell you for this one but it is pronounced "CONK" our northern "visitors" always say "CONCH" with the "ch" sound.

    • @MiamiLiving305

I do all of my own shots including Aerials! I have a few drones all of them dji. I’m sure that it is still in place but I guess not enforced by any of the agents in Bimini especially after COVID. Well since I’m Cuban I call it how it’s pronounced in Spanish (Concha). Same thing when is say isla-morada which in English for purple island
