The guy walking up saying he's seen the clip and describes what happens with confidence then the opposite happens is so apart of the I'm glad it happened round 1🎉
We considered Kyanta, Nitroplus, etc... we had no shortage of good clips from those games. But those are largely "in-joke" games; if you're already a fighting game player, they're extra funny, but if you have no idea what a fighting game is, we figured they were too esoteric/weird for the audience. We picked games that would subvert the expectations of this specific crowd of general videogame influencers (ie, Among Us Arena, the WWE game, etc), and only strayed from that if the combo gave an emotion we wanted (for example, the Texas TFH combo with the bell sounds). You'll notice most of the games are "famous" games they're likely to have heard of (Smash Bros, Tekken) or use an IP they'd recognize (Dragonball). Making a show for a general audience like this requires different clips than you'd expect for a fighting game audience.
I enjoyed the hell out of this show live. One thing you won’t see on this VOD was when Sajam introduced the last clip, a large part of the audience on the right side yelled “KYANTA” and he just gave us the most brief yet “You motherfvckers”ly death stare I’ve ever seen from a stage. Incredible time.
Haha! Man, hyping my friend up for it and dragging him down to the stage just to go 2-X as the FGC enjoyer in our group was a little bit soul crushing. So glad I didn't volunteer to join a team I'd have never lived it down.
@@greenoftreeblackofblue6625 It makes sense. This is for a larger, general audience, most of which aren’t exposed to the breadth of the FGC. Kyanta would have been too jarring and weird for first exposure to the scene. Infil and Sajam knew what they were doing.
Wow, having my Among Us fighting game on such a big stage is so surreal hahaha Thanks for showing a clip of my game Sajam!!! Hopefully we can get you another great clip from our side event at Combo Breaker this month hahaha
There's just nothing to be lost or gained which is why it works on TTV, It needed a prize for the top 3 contestants and maybe a knock out every 5 rounds for the lowest scoring player.
They slowly transitioned from trying to understand the damage output in the game to just trying to do math to win. The meta truly evolved before our eyes.
The Melty clip imo is peak WiK, the combo scales to literally single digit damage, the famous melty pixel lasts for half the combo, and you literally cant tell if it kills until the very end. Still one of my favorites to this day
This was awesome, but I’m a little sad that Kyanta didn’t make the cut. It’s for the best, though. Kyanta is not for the uninitiated. Their brains would have melted onstage, which would not be a good look for Sajam.
The funny thing about the Melty clip is that Yipes saw it with Sajam and Tasty Steve exactly one week ago. And got it right before, however he does get the DBFZ clip right twice.
To be fair I was unsure it was the same clip at first, especially because seeing it the first time that magic pixel felt like it lasted SO MUCH longer than it actually did, I swear that combo went for *at least* another ten seconds last time
The cast of God of War, n0thing, the boi Yipes all playing Will it Kill. It's like all my worlds colliding together. Amazing live show and truly a big step for the series.
"You need a stage, Yipes and TastySteve and a projector" Ummm, that was fast. TS didn't seem to make it, but you know you have to run this back.... right?
Really glad I caught the vod of this, and happy to see it arrive on the channel. I can't lie, there were one or two older clips that I couldn't remember.
I remember that clip very well and still got it wrong because I forgot about the reset into low parry at the very end, I though the raging demon killed.
I'm actually glad Kyanta isn't here. It's definitely a from of "Advanced Guessing," where emptying your mind entirely is necessary. Cripes, this was less a live game and more an exercise in Lemming Theory.
I been watching sajam for the last three years almost every day and I realized this video is the first time I see Sajam in profile. I understand Aris's jokes now.
Oh god the tekken one is perfect for this setup. It’s a live arena so people tend to vote toward the same side, AND most never seen a true “it doesn’t kill” moment
It’s funny to me that most of the GOW cast interactions that day would have been pretty typical - signing, pictures etc. Then along comes Sajam to mix them live on stage. Beautiful.
sajam threw that... crowd..... a lowball so low it might as well have been rolling with that shield break into kazua smash, and they still managed to fuck it up royally
I like how the only way you were ever gonna pull out that WWE clip for real was in a situation like this where literally no one could have known Cena was already dead when the clip started.
The best part of will it kill is the pause. Whenever I see it my reaction is "come on bro" or "really!?" Not even because I don't think it's possible or not possible, but because it means they're gonna take an ass load of damage either way. The way so many of these are "round sta- HIT" and then pause kills me. 25:12 I think those bell whips have the most satisfying, painful, MEATY hit sounds I have ever experienced.
Seeing Sajam going from local commentary to a pillar of the Fgc is amazing to see.
At this point he's basically the FGC ambassador it's awesome
The guy walking up saying he's seen the clip and describes what happens with confidence then the opposite happens is so apart of the I'm glad it happened round 1🎉
It's so pure, too. He's so sure. He's like Chat in human form.
To be fair, Sajam’s webcam was blocking the boko meter. How was he supposed to know.
Or could it all have been a strat to trick the other teams? Hmmm..
So wait, people in real life dont throw rocks? THIS IS WHY I WILL NEVER TOUCH GRASS
Voting should've been done by rock throwing tbh
THESE AIN'T OUR PEOPLE, DISAPPOINTED
So I've been buying all these extra monitors for nothing...
THE WORLD DISSAPOINTS YET AGAIN
The crowd sounds like rock throwers
I wish Kyanta made an appearance here. The level of absurdity would have been awesome to see the crowd react to.
they were already on the ropes from getting TFH!
@@ClexYoshi Yeah, when I saw them open up with a Smash clip I knew we weren't getting the weird obscure "second half" types of games.
made up for it in F-P.Ciel in MBAACC lol, wish i could see kyanta here too tho...

I was about comment "No KYANTA, garbage show, I hate it hare"

the best part is watching the stage crowd's increasing distrust of sajam over the course of the show
It is a wise crowd. :3
Turns out its not just twitch chat, its just the nature of the game

The beam super to KO had me fucking rolling laughing, hahaha, good job dude
thanks for making that FIRE of a game, majesty 👑
replying to an old post, but your games rock, and im excited to see your other fighters someday be up there too.
This seems like such a hard thing to pull off in a live setting, but everyone clearly had a blast!
I don't think it's hard, but the crowd doesn't match the energy of chat.
He needs a crowd to bring that energy!
@@DJKuroh I think the crowd just wasn't mic'd well, and probably not bursting at the seams with people
Will it kill is a traditional game show. A very simple one at that too. You only have the clips that you have to prepare really.

Anytime Melty comes up on WIK, I get a big ol grin on my face. I love that game, lol
It's fun seeing the peer pressure in the first few picks then the insanity set in.
I love that WIK induces the same anxiety in people regardless of their experience with fighting games. Great show!
Sajam better start doing this live at every major
I think he said last episode they are doing one at CB
It MUST happen!!!
I must see this at EVO
I just like how that one guy was determined to get some screen time and sajam was calmly like, "this is my show."
That guy was on too much cocaine.
dude that guy was so cringe 😭😭
This was awesome, but I’m a little sad that Kyanta didn’t make the cut. It’s for the best, though. Kyanta is not for the uninitiated. Their brains would have melted onstage, which would not be a good look for Sajam.
Sajam dying inside to stop himself from laughing at the melty and it's endless last pixel at 20:29
14:46 Yipes's face is KILLING me here. Bro knows mathematics ain't nothin in this game
mans is in disbelief
Fun fact: Yipes had seen this exact clip as part of the WIK from last month, and had gone through the five stages of grief from that pixel
Yipes is looking at Sajam with the look of “we really doin this thang”
Never thought I'd see the day where I see Sajam and n0thing in the same video. Wild
the crossover we never thought we could have
We’ve met before!
I was literally about to type the same comment.
same
I'll never stop throwing rocks.
based
See this at something HUGE like EVO would be AMAZING
I can only imagine the crowd's reaction and how loud that stadium would be
Love to see when the answer is revealed and the contestants go through the stages of grief in real time.
When I saw the Riddles Kazuya clip and saw almost the whole crowd vote no, I knew these guys were in for a wild ride
I actually can’t believe that this ended by literally throwing rock for the win
That was so fitting! xD
So it is written...
The funny thing about the Melty clip is that Yipes saw it with Sajam and Tasty Steve exactly one week ago. And got it right before, however he does get the DBFZ clip right twice.

Dio casually playing will it kill is something i did not expect
The absolute rage from the first tekken clip.
I'm in absolute stitches
We should have known better, even though "knowing better" is exactly how you *lose* at Will It Kill! :3
Can’t believe Will it Kill has now taken Sajam’s gaslighting to the big stage. Real proud to see the progress 👏
Its honestly the most advanced, powerful and perfected form of mental abuse ive ever seen in my life
Damn, he's good. Great work, Sajam! These last few last few "Will It Kills?" have been spectacular!
The cast of God of War, n0thing, the boi Yipes all playing Will it Kill. It's like all my worlds colliding together. Amazing live show and truly a big step for the series.
Yo sajam putting his life at risk doing this irl lol
Yo Sajam hosting his show live? So amazing seeing how WIK has grown!
"..Justin Wong, something like that" explains everything.
This audience got it easy. Didnt even hit em with the boko bar
This is SICK AF, live Will It Kill is such a cool idea
You know youre too invested in this show when you recognize half these clips
It ain't will it kill without Kyanta
21:37 this guy. If he gets addicted to this and lose his shit, its all on you sajam
I love how people were kinda iffy in the beggining, but then everyone really got into it.
"Never have I been so gaslit by video games" is the correct take.
"You need a stage, Yipes and TastySteve and a projector"
Ummm, that was fast. TS didn't seem to make it, but you know you have to run this back.... right?
Sajam didn't show them a KoF clip first because he was afraid of getting jumped by the live studio audience
This might be the best score I’ve ever had playing along at home
Edit: never mind
Need to start carrying foam rocks whenever Sajam shows up live incase there's a Live Will It Kill event lmao.
That dolphin assist killed me 😂 17:50
17:57
It killed her too
14:05 Yipes being like "you son of a bitch you put this back in"
“This show is easy!”
*next clip is KOF*
''Timings, frames, pixels, Justin Wongs... something like that''
I can't begin to describe how much I love this logic. What a great quote.
When he's right, he's right.
I was there live. The audience reaction was really loud lmao. WIK live is such a good idea. Hope I see it again
"Timing, frames, pixels. Justin Wongs. Something like that."
lol
Really glad I caught the vod of this, and happy to see it arrive on the channel. I can't lie, there were one or two older clips that I couldn't remember.
I went 9-2 from home, absolutely the best showing I've had. The WIK experience comes through
Sajam sounding like a youth pastor
This was so sick. Seeing it in a live setting with people unfamiliar with the game is even more entertaining.
TIMINGS. FRAMES. PIXELS. JUSTIN WONGS.
I've somehow seen that Tekken clip years before I actually every played a fighting game and the answer was burned into my memory
I remember that clip very well and still got it wrong because I forgot about the reset into low parry at the very end, I though the raging demon killed.
Can't believe this show went from scamming twitch chat to scamming a live audience 😂 amazing
God, the energy in this clip is amazing! Made me smile from ear to ear.
Bro said, "I watched this clip" 💀
Wow! That was a masterful performance, it went from tenative uncertainty to full engagement in just a few clips
Expertly translated the format to livd
The Fenretti Special...
It didn't kill as predicted.
Seeing the anguish and ecstasy live was the best part of this.
Love seeing people be surprised by different fighting games.
The last wrestling clip had me picking my jaw up off the floor. o.o
Will it kill history was made today as we finally have an instance of literally everyone being wrong
I'm actually glad Kyanta isn't here. It's definitely a from of "Advanced Guessing," where emptying your mind entirely is necessary.

This couldn't have been easy. Props to Sajam for being the consummate professional.
Kazuya? Killing after a shield break? no waaaaaaaay dude
HE DID IT! HE MADE A LIVE WILL IT KILL EVENT!
The first ever will it kill was live at evo 2019. Then sajam made it a part of his channels.
Oh god the tekken one is perfect for this setup. It’s a live arena so people tend to vote toward the same side, AND most never seen a true “it doesn’t kill” moment

Cant wait to see people throwing their yes rock plushies on stage
i would buy a Yes Rock Plushie. :3
Wait are they really planning to sell rock plushies??
"Seaworld is here you can go" lmao
i didn't think i'd ever see the voice actors of god of war playing will it kill live on stage. what a time to be alive
WIK will be the future of how conflicts are resolved, the next hunger games. LMAO
Love seeing the infamous akuma clip on WIK
Will it kill live is something I didnt know I needed until now
Also can't wait to see 30s long vtuber loops on next months will it kill
My two favorite FGs were featured right next to each other in this, that makes me happy
Cool stuff. Great to see the FGC returning to offline.

throwing rock bc you need a win is peak wik 19:31

That dude who won rock paper scissors is godlike. 2-0 double perfect K.O
