For mounting bikes. Instead of drilling into the wall, attach a length of timber to the wall (think there’s a bradfords by you, they’ll cut it to length). Or get a sheet of 18mm ply/OSB (again they’ll cut it to size) and it will cover the holes so no filling needed. Sorry if things didn’t work out with Dave. Always thought you might be a climber as well
J get a small dehumidifer from BHM and put it under steps thats what I do and leave all wet gear in there.. no more smelly clothes and it dries everything.
A decent bench is a good start, resistance band set (long and short and different colours(thicknesses)) a couple dumbells(2, 5, 7/8 are a good start)(2 of each weight), a kettlebell or two ( 8/12)
Do your pull ups in the L position. You will be using more ab muscles, plus your hip flexors. Guaranteed this will be more beneficial than the standard pull up. Stay happy and healthy. Wishing you a wonderful and prosperous 2021.

I know what you mean about a flat....I've got 6 bikes stashed all over my place (it's a decent sized 2 bedroom 2nd floor flat) though......and, for the last couple of years, my 20 year old daughter has lived with me.....There's a great deal of "moving stuff around"....It's a right old faff, but amusing from time to time......and any bike mechanic jobs are done in the kitchen....a good Park Tools bike stand does have its uses..... And as for storing kit..? Jesus, you have to always find a way......
Proper bikers cave that lol... Bikes I use less I used to tend to take the wheels out for storage or put in the loft .. Those secure Outdoor bike boxes look ok as well in theory .. Good luck with the polyfilla lol..
