- Part 2 of a series in which I build a canoe from two sheets of plywood in three days, invent a pedal to paddle propulsion system and travel from the navigable source of the Thames to London in support of charity. All materials used are free, spare or donated. Originally filmed in 2021.

How cool!
Thank you 😄🙏
Hi Ben,
This project is so cool. I'm hoping to by a canoe this week and make a kind of the same Pedal Paddle. Did you use a Fixed-gear bike in the end to be able to go backwards? I was just wondering about that...
Hi there! Superb, there is a Facebook community group for builders if you fancy joining. Head to the link in my profile to get there. This setup is full fixed gear to allow for braking and reverse. The gear ratio could be changed in a few minutes. MK2 had a fixed gear setup but the ratio could be changed in a few sections with the chain stationary. Working on MK3 now 👀
Fascinante!
😄🙏🤓
I'm curious about the final result of the house
Genius
😄🙏🙏
Hi ben have you tried it on a stand up paddle board?
Hi there, yes! Check out MK2 - it is an amphibious setup based on a bike and SUP 🤓
