thanks so much for this, honestly. I like watching corruption videos but they also kinda freak me out because they're so unexpected, and I remember how scared I used to be when I thought I broke a console or something. this helps me see the humour in it, while also giving me something to expect.

it's a *DEVELOPMENT KIT* not a BETA Dreamcast, so you wouldn't call the devkit bios "not final"
@@windows8.1proforthewin The development kits were likely made before the final menu was finished. There's no other reason they'd make an animation that shows off the power of the console just for this one specific model. The development BIOS is also widely considered to be a beta, TCRF even talks about it on the "prototype info" page for the Dreamcast BIOS.
I actually think this would be a nice first boot animation for when you first use the Dreamcast, like how the Nintendo Switch has a unique boot-up sequence.
