1st part : Sega CD Model 1
2nd part : Sega CD Model 2
3rd part : Mega CD Japanese and European Models, WonderMega and JVC X'Eye
For the 3rd part, I put all the screens in same time (to gain some time) - เกม
I like how the entire purpose (especially of the two US revisions) is seemingly "HEY CHECK IT OUT WE CAN DO SCALING AND ROTATION NOW JUST LIKE THE SNES"
But instead of having it on the system, you have to buy add-ons because were cheaper than Nintendo's Super NES.

The SEGA CD models seemingly have a unique type of music. I especially like SEGA CD 1's unique tune.
@@atfstransformations7023 its because the 6 pcm channels along with the regular FM chip is used and it creates its own sort of style
The jp-eu version is cool because it feels like you’re about to go on an adventure. It’s like an opening music for your videogame. The Japanese model 1 also has an amazing background.
Why is it so satisfying seeing the Wondermega and X-Eye *almost* sync up with each other?
The xeye and the wondermega PERFECTLY SYNCED
That's maybe because the X'Eye was just the Western name for WonderMega.
X'Eye and Wondermega use the same animation data except Wondermega's is slightly modified. By the way, I thought these animations were all randomly generated upon startup, but I guess they're just scripted to always do what they do.

The Model 2 Sega CD bios as well as model 2 Mega Drive models "Both Pal and Japanese" were also used for the CDX/Multimega "CD player and Genesis/CD combo"
Didn't the Model 1 Sega Mega CD and Model 1 Sega CD have the same bios, also?
The Model 2 Mega CD BIOS was also used for the Aiwa Mega CD, an extremely rare combination Mega Drive, Mega CD, and portable stereo.
I had no idea there were so many different models and opening screens.
There were differents models because there were different versions of the BIOS

Sometimes I wonder why the Japan and Europe version have the same music while the America version have 2 different music depending which models are. The X-eye version are more different then the Mega CD Version

There might be an extension or you can pay for someone to make it (not like you would just sayin) but I'm pretty sure you can make this title screen into a gif and set it (with a custom gif screensaver)

I'm surprised the CD system didn't use CD quality music for it's boot up screen
It would take to much space in the BIOS ROM to hold some CD quality music, that's why consoles boot-up screens didn't have CD quality sounds until the Dreamcast/PS2/XBox/GameCube

I personally like the first US version the best. The music fit so well with the animation and seemed much more creative than the rest.

Starting from 7:00, these startup musics made me cry.
They were so beautiful in terms of the instruments that they used.
As a proud owner of the European MEGA CD model 2, I feel the same.
